sure, but zerkers, GS and DE die a lot more than other clases, either if the player is a good one or not. I have a friend DE, is a machine, but in some situations he dies in one shot and other classes in same situation no, with the same damage recieved.
u can see my screen of mvp vykas hard here, i had no 6set, pretty weak tripods and not 5x3 build yet here compared to the rest. also not 60lvl which boost ruin dmg too
She’s very squishy, also plays a lot in melee range, dies in almost 2-3 hits from bosses, and if you are using cursed doll you can’t heal very easily
you need to learn patterns to be efficient,with any class, but arcanist put that a step above by making you die if you make any mistake.
I love playing Arcana but naw. Its just way less damage than other classes for much more work/tripods/gear/engravings. The difference between what a 1445 sorc / arcana brings to Hard Mode Valtan for example at the same lvl of competency is just…yeah. Arcana needs some big flat dmg buffs and more stagger/destruction/weakpoint built into her ruin skills.
Oh yeah, I love the setup aspect of Arcana I think its fun and requires you to be a bit more involved in the process than sorc for example thats just a glass canon. In general though the dmg of our yellow and blue skills feels so low and in general ruin skills should just do more flat dmg.
All tripods lvl 3 this was my best test, but i usually get between 2.8-3.0 anyway. Your damage is normal. My weapon is 81% too, If we had high tripods our damage would be stupidly higher.
Arcanas are basically another layer of RNG, they can be the most broken DPS in the raid, or maybe perform normally.
The real problem with Arcana (other than the RNG), is that it requires a lot of quick thinking and is a bit complex, so is hard to find really good arcana players. That being said, you shouldn’t have any problems finding groups if you have your build.
The biggest problem when it comes to raids with Arcana is it brings little to no group synergy. It’s dps is nothing special, it’s not horrible just not special. In otherwords it’s dps does not make up for it’s lack of group buffs that other dps classes bring. There for it would be better to bring a dps class that brings better buffs.
The problem is it provides a 10% crit rate uptime. Which sounds really cool but at end game most players have achieved a 100% crit uptime either through engravings or self abilities or gear. Keeping in mind 10% crit uptime at 100% crit rate is 0%. Now at earlier stages it is very useful but towards end game it tends to fall off. Now if it provided a 10% crit damage buff that would different. Where taking a class that provides damage buffs or debuffs the boss becomes more useful.
Not only are you clueless about arcana, you have a tenuous grasp on all the other classes in general. Why would you post about things you know nothing about?
