Arcanist card stacks

Simple question.

When fighting mobs of monsters, are the card stacks applied separately to each monster? Or is it applied to the skill and whoever gets hit with the skill, they take the dmg from a high card stacks?

i havent gotten a chance to play arcanist past 302 cause powerpass disabled but I’m 99% sure its the second one here

it is per mob which is why it is preferable to run emperor in chaos dungeon

It is indeed stacking by mod like the previous person said. Making arcana… Frustrating outside of single target bosses. Emperor is a god to to deal with chaos and any other side content with more than one target.

Looks like theyre making some pretty radical buffs to chaos dungeons in the future balancing patch. She’s unfortunately pretty weak in chaos dungeons now, but that will be subject to change. Something worth considering: Try and grind for Wheel of Fortune in first level, you should have more card draws with the chaos build. If u get it, use your ulti asap, and same with emperor card ofc. In second level use your ulti on first 3 bosses together, this will give very short CD and u have it again approx 30-45 sec later I think, and u can use it on final boss. Preferably with Twisted Fate or Cull.
When you use your ulti on the boss u get it back again for free (this is with any char)

This kinda requires you to have your engravings activated at lvl 1, if u dont have that do the Abyssal Dungeons asap to get jewelry for it to play it.

Another note: engravings buff 4-stack procs, but the tripods themselves still make them do dmg off the number of stacks if somehow u only got 2-3 stacks on half the mobs. No powerful 4 stack buff, but its better than nothing.
Also try and get preemptive strike lvl 1. It’s beyond recommended for classes that are weak in chaos dungeons.

(Hmm, kinda read the comment below OP and somehow assumed OP was tier1 - lol, im tired I guess, but ill still leave this here)
