From what I heard islands can only be done once, so I was deciding if I should just wait on my classes to do them or just do them on my current main. I’ve also heard that we get lots of catch up mechanics or rewards for when they release classes so islands might not matter.

Unless the class you wanna play comes next week, just do them now and get to t2 and T3 asap by using all the free mats from the current events.
Alts get +20% honing chance and 20% mats discount via stronghold research f your main is in higher tier.

i would go ahead and do the islands not save the MAT BOXES you get from them
store them in your roster storage

I been saving Tier 3 stuff, there is no reason to save Tier 1 or 2. As the 20% success bonus from research is more effective than any number of materials.
The sooner you get to tier 3 the sooner you can start making a lot more money.
The gold you get is far more effective than saving those boxes and slowing your current progress. Especially since by then the cost of materials might be around 1g…

Nah, but I am saving a lot of horizontal content until i get my alts in a good spot aka most in t3. Still waiting for Destroyer tho

Not everyone has done their islands, so not sure what you’re trying to imply. Not my fault you already did yours and felt the need to tell me to post this thread “one month ago.”
Save the boxes in roster storage as mentioned.
Be better/good to have island quests completed ahead of time.
And things like the island souls collected.
You get enough mats to get your main to T2 + another character if you save the chests & only open what you need.
It wasn’t an attack. I was joking around and wishing I had thought of that a month ago. I don’t even know why I try anymore on these forums.

Yeah, I have 9 souls so far and my soulfist is 1310. I’m just doing dailies, stacking chests and currencies.
No need, tower and stronghold buffs make T1 and T2 a non issue and new class releases may very well come with a T3 powerpass. They usually do in other regions.

Do the islands, do not open the honing material boxes / bags as they are bound to roster and can be kept for your class of choice if need be. Push your current main to 1385 to have all t1,t2, and t3(1370) honing increases. Use maxroll.gg honing calculator to statistically show how much materials is needed to get your new main to end game. (It’s a LOT) start saving. Island souls and other horizontal progression is a good time invesent as all skill points and 2nd awakening quest line is roster wide and is progression for your other characters even if they’re not released.
I proberly have stock pilled enough to mats to get to t3 “right away/little effort” when a new class is released.
They will not release a class soon. Personally, I’m thinking of stopping playing until they announce and release Lancemaster. I have DB 1370 . I stop here with the game…
I’m only doing the bare minimum islands to get skill points, which is still quite a bunch though. Playing pve overworld content and story as a bard post north vern is not the most fun and I wanted to play summoner so…
