Either way, accounts like this should be flagged and investigated. It would not be hard to tell if the gold was purchased from a 3rd party. I think that it is pretty blatantly rmt.

Rmt sites give 3x price of what is given in the game shop. Its a given that ppl will rmt, but a small minority of ppl that don’t want to risk getting banned, because the repercussions they see on the other regions, like “getting negative gold” or getting your gold removed. You are saying that people will only rmt because of the exchange rate compared to the “third party sites” are incomparable, which is true. But for those that don’t want any risk and wasting their money, they’ll spend their daily limit in game, I’ve known some ppl with +25 weapons, and they max out their daily limit everyday. You are thinking of the worse possible case, where they’ll have to spend millions of gold on one weapon because they are unlucky, but there are those that are super lucky or just average. Go watch the videos that zeals did for worse case scenario for going up to +25.

yea, but ppl dont want to take chances when spending an absurd amount of money. With alot of ppl complaining about rmt, they’ll prob add that. Im very doubtful they are taking this seriously though.
Well, there’s a lot of “we are looking into” bots/RMT posts from cms but unless they are preparing 1 time mass exodus, which i find a bit hard to belive, i don’t think they are doing a lot

Taking the said post, it only solves a part of the problem, for example if the individual that is in this post indeed RMTed and has his Gold removed at the point to which he got his character it is not that impactful
That’s not the solution.
Buying gold with good timings means you can multiply it with ease, then you buy stuff worth a lot like lvl10 gems and you’re never actually broke.
Permaban is the only way. Or completely strip that character from everything. No gear, no gems, nothing. So they gotta do 1300 chaos dungeon and do it all over again.
