So when you announced in the patch notes that you would replace all gold rewards from rapport by engravings, cards and tripod stuff, I was expecting you put some stuff in there, that comes at least close to the value of the gold that you took from us.
But seriously, you give us f***cking amulets of hope, that are totally useless for any player who is not completely new? You give them to us on last stage of those rapports, that take 100k rapport points, which takes months to complete? And then the reward is THIS?? Instead of 3k gold you get basicly nothing. Level 4 tripod, when you should have them all on lvl 5. This stuff is just going to lie around in my inventory.
Why not give us some stuff we could actually need? Bound legendary engraving books? They are still way too expensive, this could help. Legendary card packs? We need them so much for LoS, how are we supposed to get it in time for Brelshaza, Korean players had much more time. Not to mention that all this stuff is bound, so bots cannot even abuse it. Spending tens of hours for rapport should be worthwhile again.
In the meantime, while you took away all the gold rewards from the honest players, the bots are still happy botting and all the prices on the auction house are still insane.
But hey, you made a game where you have to do super boring repetitive tasks that take hours every day, like Unas, chaos dungeon, rapport, islands, etc… These tasks are so simple and boring, that a brainless bot can do them so easily, so it’s no surprise people use bots instead of doing stupid tasks. You guys are developers yourself, so you should know that it is always pursuable to automize such stuff. So maybe don’t add such stuff to the game. Or make it much easier/less time consuming, but only give out bound rewards. And not bound rewards only for raids etc, stuff where you actually need a brain/skill. But that’s a different story.
you cant get bound legendary books because active players already finished their rapports and it will be unfair if you will get 10 times more valuable rewards than every player who was not lazy like you
2)no books are not that expensive anymore since last patch
3)no you dont need extra legendary card packs to finish LoS. again you are just lazy and you didnt farm old dungeons enough
4)no you dont need any card set to clear brelshaza raid and dont act like 7% crit vs 7% holy dmg is big deal.
Actually the new amulets are nice for new coming classes like aeromancer. U can get all important tripods to lvl 4 instand. That’s more valuable than 1k gold tbf
Wrong. What is this way of thinking lol ? I got 3K hours and im far from completed, im 50/50 i’d say. This is not fair at all, because they recompensate people who no life it. Not everyone is in the same position mate
Steam says I have 2600 hours. I completed rapport probably 3 months ago now. Having it done was great, because it gave me back so much time I had wasted with NPCs.
If you’re only doing daily songs/emotes and didn’t farm any rapport items using lostmerchants or similar, maybe. I have a huge stock of these now and will probably blast through the new continents in a day or two depending on how bad the 99 gift limit throttles me.
And I have about 50M silver, so the cost wasn’t very excessive, either. Granted, that involves a whole lot of lopang slaves doing their daily runs, but I alt-tab during that because the loading screens are too painful to watch for that many characters.
Anyhow, I wish I had more amulets, I have enough alts that there are still quite a few gaps in the tripods. Sadly I had rapport done by then. That said, the odd 500 gold from rapport really wasn’t that great and is hardly anything in the face of all the legion raids we can do for cash now.
IMHO the new players should race their ilvl up to get those gold sources, since with hyper express passes and the like it’s so much easier than we had it to get to legion raids and the pittance of gold from rapport is nothing compared to sources you can tap weekly.
