you sure? i feel like 2nd tranquil phase happens way sooner than 30% tho
Not an issue - there’s no health bar to look at. SGR knows what’s up.
Make them optional then.
Guess what? With or without the bar it takes the same amount of time.
You just need a visual aid, which is a personal issue.
100% false, really on both counts… why? Because having a health bar, if a lot of people die, we can decide if it’s worth wasting more time on this attempt or starting over…
I like a game that respects my time, this mechanic does not do this.
Yesterday I did Argos P1 and P2 with a random group.
We wiped a couple times during P2 but we knew we were getting closer and closer.
I was in moon party and when we transitioned from the 2nd miniboss phase over to Argos our group was fully alive and I think 2 members of the sun group. Unfortunately they died quickly after regrouping but we kept fighting. 2 more members of our moon party died too and it was me and a bard left with a 2 minute timer when at about 1 minute she died too to being unlucky.
I kept fighting with no pots left (but mayhem zerker kinda broken cos I can heal with the Y button)
I exited mayhem phase to heal back up at about 40s time left until the timer would ran out, dodged and kept dps’ing as much as I could without getting hit.
At 10s time left I glanced over to the chatwindow and noticed that a huge discussion had broke out over the very same thing that u posted. Why is there no hp bar, it’s so stupid that we can’t see if we are progressing and so on.
At 5s i was out of cooldowns no pots left only autoattacks, everyone gave up hope on clearing the encounter, I reentered mayhem stage and then it happened… at 2s left, Argos sat down and roared up into the sky, signaling that we have cleared the encounter.
The entire lobby was shouting things like “gigachad berzerker” or the likes so hard. I’ve felt like a god at this moment. I even called my mom on her phone to tell her about this (I am 30 years old btw)
What I wanna say is that if it wasn’t for not having a health bar, we would have never had this experience.
I was so happy for the entire day thinking about this very moment.
I totally get you tho, it can be very frustrating to not see if you are advancing during an encounter but on the other hand it leads to experiences like the ones I mentioned and that’s what makes a good game for me!
Anyways, have a nice day man and I hope that not having a health bar at Argos makes you quit this game, also a heads up, I am positive they have healthbars from Valtan on so we will have them at legion raids ![]()
Best regards,
Zagrathul
If you have read the posts you would know. Its about being able to see how much better you did than last time, I also hate it not being able to know that information.
This actually isn’t true… he does clocks at 70% and 30% or that is what I have been led to believe.
im ok with how argos is right now, i like it, no need to change anything
that’s not really a major gimmick when 99% of the population just agrees to not hit him
These responses make me laugh, KR complained and clearly were listened too since all the raids after argos have health bars.
I am fine with the no health bar aspect. I just wish they would tell you the % you were at when you failed. Its already implemented on GRs so it shouldn’t be that hard to implement on bosses that don’t have them.
Glad to hear it! I personally feel more immersed in the fight if I can see the health bar. I fele more connected, it becomes more real when I can see my progress.
only guardian raids are like this
Argos too
This is nonsense. This is like someone who hates subtitles and thinks that one cannot enjoy a movie if they have to read too.
yeah, some of us are smart enough to be able to focus on two things at once, I believe even Kanye West proved that ![]()
This makes literally no sense, but okay lol
Technically all “Abyss Raids” are too, since Legion Raids apparently get classified differently.
Sure it does. it makes perfect sense.
I think engaged might be a better word, a lot of people associate immersion with some form of verisimilitude, but I get what you mean
