Argos released while at least 90% of the population can’t even enter it, is a big yikes.

I have over 450 hours in this game so far, I’ve played on multiple characters, do everything I can on a daily basis and so do my friends and I’m sure so do a lot of people in all servers. Yet none of us are ready gearscore wise for Argos. The only ones who can enter it are the ones who either RMT or spent a lot of money in currency exchange buying gold. Amazon kept telling us prior to the game release that you’re trying to make it more free to play friendly, yet the very first big content is only available to the “whales”.

Yes, I’m very well aware that Argos isn’t going anywhere, but that’s not the point. The bigger picture is that none of us wanna have to play catch up to the latest content despite already playing h the game a lot. I would like to spend money in this game because I want to, not because I need to in order to be ready for the upcoming raids and content.

Please do better for future releases, such as legion raids, etc and think of your playerbase

“We” as in majority of players will get there… everyone wallet is different, so play at your own pace if you haven’t given up. A veteran player rather save their gold then rush their Ilvl and get to Argos but again it’s up to your time/commitment/$$ and luck too to get there…
Eventually we will get catch up system just like in Korea trust me on this.

You said Argos is a paid DLC that’s only available to the whales, then went on to saying that you’re aware that Argos isnt going anywhere.

You literally just answered yourself there. If it’s not going anywhere and you dont need to pay for it, then its not a paid DLC.

Was Punika P2W too since you couldn’t reach it right when you joined the game?

I mean seriously… What is the issue here? You guys are so patient when the content was already out and you had something to work towards.

Now new content is released and you’re upset because you cannot do it instantly?

Everyone that’s not doing Argos this week is going to start losing out on progression and gold.

1 Argos run can net you at least 10k gold and up to 100k gold on the auction house.

It’s literally p2w.

No one but the whales can buy the drops from Argos rn tho, you legit cant buy them even if you have the gold(locked behind ilvl).

So its basically whales buying from each other. It doesnt affect 99% of the players. Avg players rn are actually making a ton of gold from selling mats in the AH because the whales are pushing ilvl.

Argos don’t go anywhere, yes, but that’s not the real problem. The real problem is AGS behavior, they did this move for a reason, having ppl shopping to reach 1370 fast, who knows what they will do in the future? I was thinking this game was the less P2W version considering we’re in the West and also due to what AGS said before releasing it. Instead, it’s going to be the most P2W one.
Most of the players were already playing the gmae in RU/KR, there you have content order as it should be, NO CENSORSHIP, ALL CLASSES, MORE SKINS, and the SAME P2W Stuff as AGS lied on that too without removing any predatory crap from the shop, so WHY should they stay keeping player here?

I think that is actually the point. Why it matters if you do that content in two weeks and not now ? This game is made for the long run and not hit and leave (their whole bussiness model is wrapped around that)
i have 340h and hit T3 day before yesterday and im more exited that there is actually something that i can progress towards and not a blunt void space to just farm without reason.

Those who want to rush would rush and pay regardless of what AGS do, no one is forcing anyone to do/pay anything. Those who are willing to pay, would. Those who are not willing to pay, wouldn’t, simple as.

People who are willing to pay has already been 1370 before Argos was even announced or released. It’s like complaining about Mcdonald’s releasing a new burger is forcing people to eat trash food. The whole logic behind that argument is flawed.

you have no idea what you’re talking about, you, and everyone saying the same words as you

new content get released = new very expansive item to sell in the shop

if the content was released for everyone, everyone would have more or less the same chance at getting rich through new content

with the current model, only riche can become richer, meanwhile, f2p plebs like us, have to suffer from lack of content designed for us , and by the time we manage to get there, the price will have dropped

considering most of the people at that ilvl done it through RMT, it adds another slice of unfairness to the already very unfair system

i was the first one shielding the game about p2w argue, saying it gives you enough mat to reach the current end game

this is not true anymore

for now, and until change, this is effectively a p2w, where the end game is a whale area, where whale and RMT whale will be able to get all the profit from new content

while the f2p will suffer from the increased price for everything, du to the fact people used RMT to boost their ilvl

at the end, only poor are suffering, and they are suffering a lot, and a lot more than both kr/ru

you need to understand the ins and out before giving your useless opinion on a matter you never cared understand.

You can’t buy the items unless you’re 1370, it is locked. so how are the whales getting richer when only whales can buy from whales. They are basically trading items between each other.

An avg joe thats below 1370 CANNOT buy any of the gear from Argos. It’s ironic of you to say i have no idea what im talking about.

True. But so, let them be rich, i dont care about them, i want to play the game because i enjoey playing it. I dont want to compete with whales because i know that its above my ability to even try (from time perspective and money wise as well) and im ok with that. Why should it bother me if there is some 1% of players owning 90% of wealth… To be honest this is something in real world as well :D… If i wouldnt be ok with that i would play some singleplayer game and not a mmo.

In RU/KR when they released Argos at the same time they released all the tools to reach him fast. Here we didn’t get anything.

It’s a game, when you drop new content everyone wants to see it. It’s the first 8men raid, it pays A LOT, it’s normal everyone want to do it. It would have been A LOT better if they first released new content outside of char/guardian and let people upgrading and THEN Argos.

It’s like dropping Blackwing Lair at release when people neither started to do Molten Core and then saying, BLW drops better, it won’t go anywhere but if you want you can skip Molten Core and go there PAYING REAL MONEY. It has no sense.

What you don’t get sadly, it’s the real reason and why they did it, what you don’t get is AGS real approach to the game what they could do in the future. Neither KR did a so bad markeing move and they are more greed on games than us, u know…

A lot of players in T3 are struggling to reach Ilvl 1370 ASAP… you can spend A LOT of $$ buying materials or… Slowly getting there, accumulate your artisan hone while generate gold… Most likely not this week but in 2-3 week you can get to Argos while F2P and have heaps of gold… up to you
