Argos weird graphic bug after update

Hello

After the latest update I am unable to play the Argos raid due to a weird graphic bug that makes it impossible to see the boss and the mechanics.

As you can see those huge bars coming from the boss make it impossible to see anything in the game.
Has anyone had this issue?
Does anyone have an idea what to do to fix this?
I updated my graphic card driver but it didn’t help.

Welcome to the Lost Ark forum community, Hikigaya888.
I’ve moved this over to the support section so our support team can check into this for you.

Hello and welcome to the forums @Hikigaya888 and thank you @Centeotl for moving this over,

I am sorry to hear you seem to have run into a graphic bug of sorts.

Please try the following steps in order to troubleshoot this, should it happen again:

  1. Ensure your video drivers are up to date.
  2. Set Windows power settings to High Performance.
  • Press Windows + R, type “powercfg.cpl” into the Run window, and then press Enter.
  • Select the radio button next to the High performance power plan. You may need to click Show additional plans first.
  1. Adjust your in-game video settings. (sometimes just changing them back and forth will reset the issue)
  2. Clean boot Windows by following these instructions:
How to perform a clean boot in Windows (to reduce startup applications/Check for Malware).
  3. Reset your video driver software to the default settings.
  4. Check for evidence of overheating.
  5. Please verify the integrity of game with the Steam integrity check
How To run a Steam Integrity Check

If the issue persists after this, the scenario will require our tech team to look into your logs and follow up directly with other possibly sensitive account information that is best not posted on the forums so it would be best if you could please create a web ticket by going to Contact Us | Amazon Games.

I hope this helps and if not, do not hesitate reaching out to live support.

See you in Arkesia! :wolf:

I see the same graphical error on argos after the update, it also often crashes when entering the argos dungeon

this item seemed to help fix the issue.

I tried that, but the issue still persists. Funny it’s just at Argos since the game runs ok everywhere else

I tried all items on the list
When I entered Argos I immediately got disconnected and then when I got back the graphic bug was still there. So far it’s only on the Argos raid.

Hello @zerons95d and @Hikigaya888,

Thank you for following up on this post. I am glad to hear @zerons95d’s case was fixed and not so to hear about @Hikigaya888’s case. Please note the next thing to do is to create a ticket with the link provided in my previous post. You can quote the URL for this forum post in order to provide further visibility on the issue.

Hope this helps and see you in Areksia! :wolf:

Got the same Issue like the other people.
Started a Ticket and referenced this post here.

Had an Issue before too, but that was with a specific Version of the GPU driver.

You guys running an Radeon Card by chance?

Hello,
No, I’m running an nvidia 1070ti with the latest driver, considering going back to an older driver and testing the bug. Maybe you can try it as well if this issue appeared after a driver update.

I did a driver update and ran into problems after the last Lost Ark Update.

Ok, i did another several tests and validated the game files again. This time he discovered 20 faulty files and Argos is running again.

Only sad part, my main lost his entry to Argos because of crashes at start of Argos.

But, re-do the game file integrity check several times if it is clean at first.
No idea why mine missed the files at first.

Hello @Tezard,

I am glad to hear you were able to get into the game now.

Regarding your lost entries, we’ve set up a system that will automatically reissue entries in scenarios caused by a verified server crash or outage within 48 hours. That is to say, if the system does not reissue your entry ticket automatically on this occasion, we will not be able to do so manually. You can read on how we handle these scenarios here.

Note the system counts any entries as consumed whether or not these are completed runs. This means if you started a Gate 1, it will be considered consumed and not allow access to Gate 1 again and Gate 2 will not be accessible given Gate 1 was not completed.

Hope this helps and see you in Arkesia! :wolf:

For me going back to an nvidia driver from a few months ago seems to have fixed the problem.
