Yea, the solution for it was simple. Just let hyper express characters get bonus on all raids instead of valtan/vykas. But they literally did not think about it. Sadge
I do not believe they ever intended for you to go straight to brel hard.
Even if they probably mentioned it in some post somewhere, you know that AGS does not have any intricate idea of the game, they only know general concepts. So it was just flavor text.
I think April 12/19 release was planned and you would not have gotten the horns that you require unless they release it on the last Wednesday of April, but, as I mentioned, it was never intended I’m sure.
They should’ve released the artist in February with the anniversary, but they always drop the ball with everything.

Yeah, it’s flavor text. Technically they don’t say you would be ready on the day it releases so… Yeah. That text has a lot of badly worded phrases that only create disproportionate expectations.
For example, the express event and powerpass only really prepare you to get to vykas hard at best. Getting to Brel hard, the help the events provide you is less than 5% of the cost of the journey, and out of that 5%, 80% is the double vykas/valtan rewards. I believe artists will also not have a full lvl 2 clown set either, being subpar with others.
So never take anything AGS says seriously about the scale of anything.
Let me ask you this.
Can you make it to Brel hard by launch on your Artist. Yes? Square deal.
Quickly ≠ Easily.
He makes it by not being able to complete the relic set which is required to continue to progress the character. You need full 6 pieces of brel normal since you can’t skip from old relic gear to ancient.
That is not Quickly is not easy. He simply cant skip brel normal.
That is not the problem, son. Even doing the brel hard on launch eventually i need to come back to normal because i NEED the normal set crafted to upgrade. I can definely do on launch but whats the point of doing that when im going to have to back to normal? At the end of the line, i NEED to farm the normal horns
I’m not your “son” don’t be an ass. New content may go this way, newer characters are typically at a disadvantage, this isn’t any different.

I think what he’s getting at is that artist really should have been released in february to prevent this kinda thing. The other problem you might see is if people are running 1-2 on hard on their alts most artists that aren’t 1540 yet will have a hard time even finding lobbies to finish getting the normal horns to progress.
If you can hone to 1560 an go hard mode with your static just do it. You get your horns back when you transfer to ancient gear, you don’t need to come back to normal at all.
Kid, they promised that it would be possible to do Brel Hard and the new guardian which you can literally due with you 1540ilvl ayaya.
They didn’t promise you that you will be able to do Brel hard 1-6 right away and they didn’t say you can skip brel normal items and go for brel hard, they even wrote on the home page PREPARING FOR BRELSHAZA HARD MODE where it tells you.

Showing off a 1540 character? Nah bro, chill. I just made the post because u literally can’t do brel hard straight of just because u NEED to farm the horns. You cannot skip normal even with the ilvl.
Aah, so its the same as the vykas > brel normal? Its not like argos > vykas where u just lose the current one? If thats the case, its ok then.

My Artist is now 1555, only missing her brush.
Good thing is:
- You get your horns back from Parts you upgraded to Ancient
- You can continue Gates upwards where you ended HM (exp: You did 1-4 HM you still can do 5/6 NM)
therefore you wont get full gear, but still be able to participate in HM, no problem here

If they follow the plan, Artist should be released same like Brel Hard, not on March update. So in the first place, Artist can be used for Brel hard.

I thought you cant craft the ancient gear without full 6pc Brel? So if you cant craft the ancient gear then you have nothing to transfer to. So in the end you still need to do Brel NM to get the complete set.
yeah its true but you only need one char with full 6pc brel, the required achievement you get from it to craft ancient is roster wide.
