Attribute domination

Hi guys, I have a doubt and I hope someone can help me, I’ve already researched and I keep testing in trixion but I still haven’t had an “ok” result, it’s the following, in the description of atb domination it says that it increases damage when the enemy is fallen / knocked down, my doubt is that he also says that someone the target is in the “debuffed” state he also receives a damage increase on him, I’ve already tested several different debuffs (which don’t increase damage directly) and I can’t notice difference in damage, the damage just doesn’t go up, it only increases when the target is in Staggered state or when it’s named or lower and is knocked to the ground, does anyone know if it’s some debuff or specific situation that this works or if it’s bugged ?

From what I heard recently Gunlancer “taunt” ( I believe ) counted as boss being “debuffed” that’s why old meta was to stack Domination and blowing everything on the boss during the small window to generate insane dps, however that was changed because clearly it was too OP.

Or well. It counted as boss being “Staggered” I guess. I don’t think after that anything else would count for extra damage outside of boss ACTUALLY being in stagger.

the debuff part is stun/fear/electrocute not things like minus defense/resistance etc

domination is just a pvp status nowadays, bosses have super armor lvl 3 which is described as all immunity thats why domination takes no effect, the only scenario where it works is when you deplete the stagger purple bar but thats like once or maximun twice per fight and its just for few seconds so its not worthy

Not something you can do on a boss then since they’re immune to all cc.

so basically domination would only work on the stagger part or when he takes a counter he goes straight to the staggered state right?
but so there are debuffs that even in BOSS being immune to hard cc work like bleeding of some skills.
in my case I play sharpshooter, I have bleeding, poisoning, and the death strike debuff, by logic it should work, right? or even the debuff that increases the damage by 6% that every class has, why so in the condition of the attribute it says that it needs to be debuffed and not that it has a specific debuff for that, you know?

Counter does not work as a staggered state. Actual stagger state and stagger after destruction works for domination

the translation is kinda confusing think as the debuff from domination being as hard CCs if you dont CC your target like stun/fear/electrocute or any other it wont work.

Bleeding is just a debuff not a hard CC

Translations are terrible. Debuffed means afflicted with a negative buff. I tested this early on in Trixion because it looked like it had awesome scaling.

It should be called “Pushed/Controlled” instead of “Debuffed”. This would make perfect sense for “Domination” anyway.

when domination says “debuff” it’s referring specifically to level 3 cc’s which are debuffs, things like stun, electrocute, earthquake, fear.
it’s essentially a pvp stat since most things that don’t die in 1 hit (except named grade monsters, which die in a couple) are immune to debuff cc’s.

this does not apply to the normal debuffs such as defense downs or bleeds or slows or anything.
