We are saying that it’s non-refundable, because the Amazon Games Refund Policy says that. That you got a refund is pure goodwill from their side (most likely, because it’s simply not worth the hassle). But by sending you the refund, they decided that they don’t want you as customer and therefore established a ban.
Which is their right as business owner.
You used (at least one of) the items (check Roxx’s reply earlier this post). They would have even refunded a - again - non-refundable item without consequences, if you wouldn’t have opened it.
You made the mistake. You fucked it up. You refunded a non-refundable item even after using (at least parts of) it. And now you blame THEM, that they don’t have mechanisms in place to cover YOUR ass?

You got your headstart and you got your items. If you get banned for refunding items and the headstart you already used, it only makes sense that you get banned.
To me it is on the same level as not liking your food, getting your money back but still wanting to continue eating your food.

Have you not seen Steam refunding us the founders? You haven’t addressed Steam in your responses to me. You keep saying AGS would refund without ban if I never opened the box, aight. And then why does Steam refund? Ah because of good will but then how would THEY know I used consumables or not? It’s not their game. In AGS response to me they clearly stated COMMERCE LOCK. This is regarding to simply a key lock. No where does it say it was because we used consumables. Please stop white knighting the CMS and AGS like they even know what they are talking about. Every single one of them have different answers and we have screenshots from live chat verifying that.
But based on what you have said, you acknowledge that AGS does in fact have the ability to see what is on our accounts yet lack the technology to take/add anything to it. It is 2022. What kind of gaming company is unable to manually do the basics of taking and adding things to an account. You speak that I have used something consumable like pots but all I used were the pots I got from soloing hard dungeons during story. Sorry. Does that mean FREE in game drops are now linked to founders? My crystals are 100% still in tact at original value as I hadn’t even purchased a thing from shop. I never used the MP to sell or buy anything. I never traded anyone. Is opening a skin box now a consumable? That’s laughable. AGS could easily verify this situation if they actually looked at people’s logs rather than having their dog automated bot system ban on cue for the slightest. They only act like they do but really don’t.
For your information, I had purchased another plat box from Amazon itself due to a family members mistake and I LEFT the box 100% unopened in my mailbox and they never refunded or took the box out. Your whole point has now been INVALIDATED. By your backing of Roxxs words, I should have at least gotten my refund from AGS but I didn’t. Because they wouldn’t refund period.
Lastly, why the fuck do you think customer service even exists if people aren’t supposed to be feel one bit entitled? Just erase customer service then because everyone is entitled in your eyes. What is really my mistake? Refunding money only to use the same money to actually purchase my correct desired pack? AGS still has my money but I get banned instead because they don’t know how to take things out because evidently, it has to be in a nice easy open chest for them as they are lazy to go any deeper. Every other MMO has no issue when I use mats to reroll or take/add things to my account but AGS has become an exception. Even purchases in the cash shop I wanted reverted they could do. They add to my balance and simply remove what I bought.
You really are something to think this is some first MMO launch where so many functions are soooooooo new that they have not yet been used. They have. AGS just chooses not to have them
Every game I have played that had in-game items, that got refunded, had the account banned. I have never seen the company just “take away” the items and leave the account unbanned. You just have a pipe-dream wish there.
AFAICT, from posted transcripts, amazon support actively advised people that wanted to change to a higher tier pack, or had purchased duplicate packs to ask steam for a refund the one they didn’t need/use, often before anything was delivered (or, in many cases because nothing was delivered)
To the ban people for following support directions to resolve an issue as abominable
I asked for a refund for the platinum package and got banned. I wonder how such nonsense can happen. Of course they didn’t refund money, I guess it’s the new tactic to scam people. I waited for a reply for 3 days about the ban reason and the answer was not surprised at all.

there is no point in arguing with people, who don’t see the problem with refunding a non-refunding item and the business owner taking actions, that it won’t happen again.

In my case I asked for a refund before launch, bought the game again before launch and got banned after launch (and was playing normally). I’m almost 5 days without any response from support, where they always say that the case was forwarded to specialists, with a deadline that is never met (1 day or 3 three).
It doesn’t make any sense as I didn’t ask for a refund again after the launch.
Amazon does the show itself. They think we are the best, we are the best. It’s not like selling a book written by authors. . Amazon entered it saying that there is money in this business. We have money, we do the best mentality. The service they offer explains it all. I have not received a refund and we are banned for no reason. We have no freedom to question. From my point of view, Amazon is a complete fraud. All Amazon does is show. The new world hasn’t been a complete fiasco. They don’t know how ruthless the player base is. Nope… No email, they just ban you and you must talk to live chat to find out if you got banned or not, then you must submit some sort of appeal to get the ban overturned.
How did you get the Steam to refund you? I personally don’t give a crap if my Lost Ark account gets banned. I have now had 4 discussions back and forth with Steam and every time there is just prewritten TOS this EULA that. It is not enough to provide 30%, 50% or 90% of what was supposed to be delivered. You have to full fill the purchase 100%. First two days I could play some, but then the 3rd founders pack day the whole game was down. After that I waited couple of times 4 hours in queue and just gave up for not having the will nor time to do that. Few days later I tried an hour just to get to queue which was >15K. They have clearly not delivered what I bought and now even Steam is turning a blind eye on this. Steam even directly blackmails you with steam account banning if you suggest a charge back. I haven’t played the game for almost a week as I have other things to do than queue 6 hours and get kicked out. And as others I have not traded anything with anyone.
Corporations always like writing whatever on their “Agreements”, but luckily the laws in EU guarantee that customers actually have some rights. I have been Steam customer since the start of the Steam and this is actually first time I have had to ask for refund. It’s a totally disgusting how they threat the customers these days.
So how did you do it? How to get refund without charge back? I don’t care if they push my LA account to somewhere where sun doesn’t shine.
You just keep talking to diferrent steam agents, perhaps one will help you out in refunding you, that is if you bought it through Steam. If you bought it through Amazon, just keep trying I suppose with different agents. Last resort is to just contact CC issuer and getting a refund that way but that might ban your steam account.

For god sake, YOU GET BANNED FOR CHARGING BACK period , this been happening for DECADES in GAMES, you are making this like its a new thing ?
This entitlement bs that you are using because you are a “CUSTOMER” its something you and everyone else thinks its entitled like they own the company, its a bussiness at the end of the day, they decide how to run it NOT YOU the paying “SUPER - ENTITLED CUSTOMER”.

I think you have lived your life in ***** or North *****. Things are bit different in the EU. Let me explain. Where I live we have laws and regulations for companies to provide the product or service they promised or lead us to believe that we are getting. And they will need to deliver it 100%, anything less and they have failed. The laws and regulations are there precisely for the fact that buying something should not be gambling. You are supposed to get exactly what you pay for. Pretty simple, huh?
It does not matter what you think always happens or what corporations think how it should go.
