Where was this kind of help when i was fighting a 7 day suspension that I got for “Cheating” Which I know i didn’t. While my razor mouse does have ability to make a macro and program buttons on the side to do casts i dont use it for this game. I dont think that is what triggered it for me but then how would anyone know?
I know beating a dead horse… But when you know you did not knowingly cheat what you going to do?
If you got a 7 days i think you should feel lucky…

I’m here posting for a friend who got an unfair permaban as well. The reason is “using an illegal program” but he did not use anything. He’s been playing for 10 months with no previous bans or suspensions. He’s also put over 2.5k hours into the game and has spent money on the game throughout the last 10 months.
The only responses he is getting are from support auto text bots mentioned above.

Same thing appears to have happened to me. All I was doing yesterday was raiding with guild all day. I use Splashtop for work and I had my mouse bug out mid raid and I reopened the HyperX Ingenuity software to resolve the DPI issues with my mouse, so maybe somehow this triggered it? I have only ever made purchases through the shop and never done any cheating behavior, this doesn’t make any sense to me as I haven’t even installed any new software since the game out.

According to steams support article on developer bans they are ONLY for the one game and should not effect other games.
This only applies to games that have implemented the game ban feature, and a game ban only applies to that specific game.
The VAC system is fully automated and has nothing to do with Lost Ark. The only way this would effect other games is if the developers saw that you were playing their game with another game ban on your account and decided to manually ban you for it. Though technically speaking this would be viewed by steam as abuse of these systems as developers are only supposed to issue profile bans like this if they have been detected Cheating in their own game.

A: No. VAC and Game bans should only prevent the user from playing on VAC secured servers in the game they received a ban in. A permanent ban should only be issued for your game if the user was caught cheating in your game.
If anyone here runs into issues playing other games be they VAC enabled games or not - as a result of this game ban you should contact steam immediately.
Problem is that you still have the flag on your account and thus for online games/servers which use stricter VAC rules it is a possibility. Back in May this came forward already. (Might be changed now but i highly doubt it.)

Yeah that is not supposed to happen. Though reading into the way Squad works this looks like it is more something that is up to individual communities rather than the developer itself. Meaning it is by no means standard and does not apply to all servers, but rather only to servers that are scripted to look for game or VAC bans on accounts.

I got permabanned yesterday because of “Cheating: Known Cheat Program Detected” but I don’t understand since I don’t use any program for my benefit, I don’t know if the game detected any program that I usually have open as “bad”.
I have been playing for a long time and invested enough money to risk my account…
I do not think that someone who has invested money and has played their hours every day has cheated.
I sent an appeal and the support answered me obviously that I had cheated, then I sent another appeal adding evidence and they answered me in 5 minutes, saying that they reviewed my case very well, which is not true

Quit and avoid AGS games. They do regular mass false bans in New World, Lost Ark, and I’d expect the same heartless “kill 'em all and let God sort 'em out” approach in Blue Protocol.

I also wanted to mention that i got banned yesterday and haven’t had any luck lifting this ban 
Its the same case as everyone here (usage of cheating programm) but i haven’t used any and played since early access, bought founder pack and investested 100€, cause i really enjoy the game… had nearly 1900 hours played so far. Here are screenshots of my account:

He was playing on tuesday morning and did the adventure island on 11 am. A few moments after that, he got disconnected and couldnt log in because of cheating/illegal program. He never used anything like that. He is playing since release over 2500 hours and spent a lot of money in the game.
In the last 3 weeks he got many disconnects, sometimes over 20 disconnects per day.
The only response from the support is an auto text message which says “permaban because cheating or using illegal programs”.
He is using Razer Synpase for the hardware but never used any macros or anything like that. Steelseries Sonar GG is also installed for the headset. No other program is used beside lost ark.
He only purchased through the ingameshop and bought the founderpackage on steam.
There must be an issue with EAC and the installed Razer Synapse or Steelseries Sonar GG Software
And so, while the game is falling apart from an infestation of damn bots,
which make normal players headache, at the same time AGS permanently bans legit players. When will AGS solve the bot problem!?
Personally, I’m on edge, every day when I log into the game,
all 7 of my characters have an email with an offer to buy gold from illegal sites.
I already had a full block list before, so I deleted it all, and now I’m back on track to fill up the ignore list once more.
This really doesn’t make any more sense.
While I’m here, there’s one more thing that pisses me off.
You have properly removed the gold as a reward from rapport NPC’s
and thus only harmed the normal players, because as we can see the game is still full of bots. Fortunately, I’m almost done with the rapport.
Just a few more and it’s done.

I Had a friend that also was banned from “using an illegal program/cheating”, but he never did anything like that.
Here is the message he sent yesterday to Amazon Support:
"Hello!
My name is André and until yesterday (12/13/22) I was able to play Lost Ark fine. This morning I recieved a permanet BAN for cheating.
Well, I would really appreciate you guys to verify this again, because I play this game since week 1, in the same PC, with de same softwares and never had a problem with VAC.
I failed to see how I was able to play cheating all year long and now, out of the blue, the system decided I was cheating.
Can u tell me what is the cheat program you guys acuse me of using? I assure that you can’t, because I don’t use any.
Anyway, i’m willing to provide further evidence, I just don’t know how. Can u give me some pointers? What do you Guys need as proof?
Maybe, and this is just a thought, the BAN wave you guys issued for this week maintenance got me by accident. I can guarantee I never violated any of your terms on the Code of Conduct, nor I was cheating.

He got DC’ed while loading into Caliligos around 6:30 PM PST last night and we thought it was the loading screen crash. When he tried to relog, he got the “banned for cheating” message instead. He ran into the same automated responses when he cut a support ticket to try and understand why the game believes he is cheating.
A member of our raid static and got hit with this ban yesterday as well, I’m adding his details here if it benefits a solution in any way. All of us are desperate to be able to play with him again.

He got banned around 1:10 EST yesterday (12/14/22) for cheating after his game crashed. His attempts to appeal the ban only ever gave an automated message like others in this thread. This is someone our guild has been playing with since release, the rest of us can affirm 100% that he never used a cheat program. He uses the Logitech Mouse software too, if that helps. Please let us know if these false bans can be resolved in a timely manner.
