HI I was permanently banned for “known Cheat Program”
I started at beta/launch with a little over 1200 hours put into the game.
I have sent numerous appeals but have only been met with automated responses.
I have no prior offenses.
I reached out to Amazon Games and asked for my amazon data (AmazonGames.zip) for my account and was sent a a report that I hope would be relevant for my appeal
After browsing AmazonGames.zip I found a note document called “AmazonGames.Moderation.Reports.csv” where it showed what I was reported/flagged for “using macro” and “goldbot chat spamming”
I do not have any third party applications or ability to use macros (unfortunately I am unable to prove this/ don’t know how to.)
Nor would I ever advocate for a gold farming site with an account with over 1200 hours on it
This is my last attempt at restoring my main account and am hoping that staff would take the time to look into this.

I just received a permanent ban from AGS - I’m not even actively playing the game, in fact, I can’t remember the last time I did.
If I have a program that is considered cheating, I’d like to know what it is. I just have Corsair iCue software with maybe 2 simple macros, nothing like spam macros, and not even related to Lost Ark - I’ve never used a macro in Lost Ark when I did play the game. A Crosshair overlay program I bought on Steam, if software like that is considered cheat program, I would like to know. Crosshair overlay was never used in Lost Ark.
How would I go about actually finding out why I was banned forever when I don’t even play the game? lol
You might be one of the “inactive” people who got banned. Go check Steam reviews or Reddit, there’s tons of you. It seems like Amazon accidentally (hopefully?) banned people who played back in February and stopped playing since then.
Thank you! …that sounds like it may be the case here.
My ban message in Steam didn’t call out any specific reason. I was assuming there may have been a false positive from another program since that seems to be a common issue in this thread.
Well guys, it looks like this thread has indeed been marked for death. There are other “I got banned please help” type of thread that were locked by mods, but not this one. So it seems to me the mods are purposefully ignoring this thread.
So I have made a new one (Are the false bans from December going to be looked at?) in general chat, hoping it’ll garner more attention as it’s in a more frequented section of the forums. Please go there and put in your two cents so more people knows about our situation and hopefully pressure AGS into at least giving us a response, instead of hanging us out to dry with silent treatment.
We have been asking for an update for abiut a month.
If we really used cheat prgrams we wouldnt be here on the forum begging on our knees. We would be creating new bot accounts with whatever cheat programs they were accusing us of using.
The main issue is that EAC may trigger any third party software running in the background as a cheat software, such as citrix workspace for remote connection for work, Logitec G Hub, etc.
Then we get the great wall of AGS ban appeal team. Their incompitance to even try to investigate every potential false positive EAC detection. Sweeps up under the rug and assumes the EAC data is 100% correct.
Got a response from CS after they posted about the recent banwave of innocent players. Still the same response. 100% Human. We are going to be here for a while…
