If i want to go for 4x3 + 2 with bard, which engraving should i keep at level 2?
Drops of ether or Vital hit point I guess
If full swiftness bard you may also consider max MP, but I think what Saphy says is better.
if you want heavy armor just keep it at lvl 2, bards are already not running grudge and hitting themselves with their own shields 100% of the time so you dont need heavy armor at all technically but if you really want to be even more tanky then lvl 2 is enough
if you dont run heavy armor then put max mp increase on lvl 2, drops of ether cooldown goes from 30 seconds to 10 seconds from lvl 2 to 3 which is a massive boost in how effective that engraving becomes so i wouldnt recommend to run it below lvl 3
Thanks i was thinking about going heavy armor lvl2 too. Seems like good ratio between self dense and party buffs. So as 4th engraving i should go drops of ether or vital point hit?
drops of ether in my opinion is almost a core engraving, i just think its much better to have all around for the dps
If swiftness go with mana engraving or vital point hit.
If full spec you need spirit absorbtion.
My current 4x3 + 2 setup i’m using:
- desperate salvation 3
- awakening 3
- expert 3
- vital hit point 3
- heavy armour 2
with heavy armour 2 you’re already tankier than most classes. Plus vital hit point really plays a huge role in kakul. I alone can almost solo the stagger the mario phase (when someone in the party got hooked accidentally he just has to come back and throw whirlwind grenade at the boss and it’s enough), and with proper stagger skill rotation i’m pretty sure i can solo it. So I would prefer vital hit point. It has way more impact than just making yourself tankier (which you don’t need once you get used to boss skills)
I would never suggest a support to have vital hit point, it is total bullshit, a pt that relays on it is clearly missing a melee char, preferably a master brawler one as it also add a lot of positioning control.
