RMT gold is at an all time low in price right now ($35 for 100k gold) and there are hundreds of pages on the AH of obvious RMT transactions for hundreds of thousands of gold.
This doesn’t explain it. Why is that one engraving seeing much much higher inflation than anything else.

Surge is up 17% and going for 11.5k.
Death blow is up 37% and going for 13.5k.
Desperate Salv is up 14% and going for 10k.
Are you sure that being able to get 300k gold for less than $100 from RMT sites isn’t affecting these?
If I was willing to risk a ban (I’m not because I’ve no lifed this game way too hard), the first thing I would do after getting my RMT gold is buy 20 of legendary class engraving books.

Where is the 100% coming from. It’s currently 10k per lost ark market. So it went from 5k to 10k in the last 7 days? According to lost ark market it was 8k 7 days ago.
I didn’t make up my numbers. I took them straight from lost ark market online using NA East.

the prices reflect 2 things…people start panicing because clown release comes closer and closer and need their 5x3 to get accepted in PUGs and the rising bot aka RMT gold value these two factors made book prices explode and this will be like this for quite a while because when mains are done alts also need 5x3. But tbh all the players who have not bought legendary books on their MAINS ages ago cheaped out anyway…it was more then obvious that you will need the legendary books and that prices will rise with a lager number of players hitting the iLvL for the endgame content like all the cheapo sups that started vykas with 3x3

I just checked lost ark market online for EUC and it’s showing desperate salv selling for under 10k. Maybe it’s old data though (says from 10 hours ago).
Over the past two weeks it’s gone from 8k to 10k. Lol 100% inflation.

They aren’t able to bot Anguished isle because you have to be 1415 to purchase the books
Even if they’re able to go in at 1325 and damage hack like they’ve been doing for Thronespire they would still have to push a character to 1415
And that cost isn’t worth it
Make the Thronespire books 1415 to get and problem solved, they move onto something else

Supports were never cheaper to gear than DPSes.
Actually there are tons of solid DPS builds out there dirty cheap to build, but supports are stuck with only one viable and expensive build.

Oh they werent? So you are telling me that a 4x3 support costs just as much as a 5x3 dps? Supports dont have to spend gold. They finally do on class engraving books but that is it.
Why and how 4x3 would cost more than a 5x3? What a dumb comparison. Support 5x3 costs more than most dps builds 5x3. 4x3 on dps is dirty cheap as well. If anything it is more expensive on supps to get 4x3 as well cuz you are pretty much forced to cut an expensive stone due to lack of options.
Its now cheaper to do x2 relic bis class engraving rather than +12 lege
Supports are necessary to complete content (unless overgeared af or you’re cracked)

Cost of gearing 3x3 support is the comparison to 5x3 dps right now. You compare required setup to required setup. Supports do not have to spend gold. They can if they want, but it is absolutely cheaper.
