Battlefield score calculations

I play Paladin. I’m decent. No pro, but I’ve reached gold in the ladder.
Battlefield score (BFS) almost never represents what supports do. Do we turn the tide a lot? Yes. Do we negate damage and heal players? Yes. Is ANY of that counted in TDM/Competitive? No. It’s Dmg received and taken, kills, and assists. Yet after games of fully supporting my team with 1 kill, 8 assists, I get a BFS of 950 cause those values are rarely high for us supports. While the MVP is undoubtedly a DB, SH, Sorc, or Zerk. I think they should be including healing, damage mitigation, and shielding to the score.

Anyone else feel this way? I just feel it plays a huge role and it’s not even a value added into the score. I think it also plays a role for those number people out there looking for MVP. Why play a supp when you can MVP rounds with ease? Just a thought. Tell me what you think.
