Be nice to begginer/alts help them!

i like how you censored their name in party frame and chat window but above their actual character :joy:

yea if you want

it’s indeed helpful but in the same time they need to experience it and learn it and not have tier 3 killing the boss in a few seconds. i only join them through party finder if they’re asking for help there. otherwise i don’t queue to low tier guardian raids considering i don’t wanna mess with someone that’s experiencing the game for the first time.

I have no problems with helping alts.
Problem is many times i apply to a party and there is no response for minutes. Or roster 170 that is too cheap to use flares, so 40sec run turnes into 3min looking for a guardian.

why

that alt you help could be the same asshole with a 1550 that RMT his way to endgame gatekeeping your main or 1460 alt because tee hee why u no 5x3…+ 1 yet lol

No luv in deez streets

I’d rather use that 3 minutes to gatekeep other people. More fun.

How is one shotting a boss that’s supposed to be a learning experience helping them? Do you get how wrong that is and how much disservice you are doing for them? They will arrive at Velganos after finishing the the pass and say “well this is impossible”. You know why? Because they never learned or fought Vertus, Tytalos, Abrel.

quit capping

at launch game had like 0 notifications or disclaimers or they got yeeted as soon as it pooped up on your screen. A joke most casuals learned shit T1-T3 Ingrexion/Yoho because game was a glorified button masher. The recent Yoho Hot Takes proof. The RU/KR vpn players carried folks Gate of paradise and Abyss dungeon but after 1st clear useless waste of time since devs nerf gold and inefficient to lvl up by farming abyssal. People only began to learn how game works at 1370 HM Oreha. Prior to this it was T2 Hell/1340 hell which caused many to quit.

common mistake
usually with mirrors or reflecting objects :stuck_out_tongue:
you can see things hard to imagine :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

its one take on the topic for sure but its grinder, you do that many times per day
its not like oneshoting things for low levels is common practice to
also if someone want to learn something he will do it sooner or later
making ppls life miserable on a way to endgame is not really good practice imho but thats more devs issue :stuck_out_tongue:

tbh maybe i got to much experience from wow but i find mechs in isometric game much more limited, there is a loot things flying, flashing, jumping, and exploding on the screen but you have to really watch out for red things on the ground and~2-4 major mechs in the end
Although i had rather limited experience with LA so maybe i dont know about something in legion raids :stuck_out_tongue:
Abrelshud in KR version looks like something worth fighting couple times actually but its not enough for me to go through months of grinding :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I don’t see a problem with helping new players, the point is that most of us have more than 4/5 alts in the account and this consumes a lot of time… it’s hard to fit in time to help new players, I usually help out on Tuesdays I don’t have much to do with the characters

Just to understand. Here you want that people help? While in other topics on this forum people cry if we make free carry’s (in Oreha for example).

free bus no bid is good for both sides don’t you think?

Ye I do that too but I remember cry topics about that.

Here for example

I usually ignore these posts, I’ve been doing this in SA and never had a problem. just luck i think

Helping (new) players is always a good/welcome thing. However, helping them with the wrong way is a bad one. In particular, new players are “boosted” too fast (imo) that they don’t have time to learn or don’t even think to learn mechs. Why ? because they always get carried through dungeons. Once again, helping is good but personally, I don’t see any good thing of “one-shotting” everything, other (new) players still learn nothing. The fact is we’re having 14xx players who fail challenged T1/T2 abyss dungeon, etc. Soon enough, these “new” players will get “old” and arrive to Valtan or further, still praying for their “one shooter” god to save them through end-game contents.
Once again, helping is good but instead of “one shot” everything, explain them the mechs, it’d be more benefit for all of us. At least, they will get ready for end-game content and we’ll have more “formed” players to play with.
Regards,
P/s: helping people when you have about 3 minutes, why not but in the end, who is the winner ? Between the “old” players showing their “muscles” and the innocent “newbies” who still know nothing about mechanism :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

LOL as a newplayer when it happened to me i was like “wtf lol this is quick, cool” didnt changed anything for me, dosnt happend that oftend and “learning” nah, there isnt lmutch to learn even early game, it’s just boring farm i was glad they poped sometime to insta it

sure urnil will be a good practice for velganos

Idk the past few weeks I went back to doing the guardian slayer quest line where you go to the different islands and then do that guardian’s raid to progress. When I first go to do them I press matchmaking thinking I’ll give some lower people a free carry, but I sit there for maybe 1 minute and never got a full party once so I just solo’d.

Love your philosophy :kissing_heart: I totally agree with your sensation, it mays be fun/cool at early game, as you mentioned. I was talking about the long terms. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not telling people not to help new players, I’m telling people to stop doing it the wrong way. Helping in early games can be a favor for new players by saving them time but go through mid and end-game with 0 mechs doesn’t help anyone, it’s even frustrating. Since new players are used to win dungeons without knowing any mechs, why would they try to learn it in the endgame instead of praying for their “one shooter” to “pop” ? Humans always choose the easy path to follow, aren’t we ?
Anyway, I’m happy there’s new players joining, as long as they know mechs :relieved: In conclusion, don’t stop helping people (or new players), but do it the right way :innocent:
