Best Martial Artist Choice?

I chose Wardancer. Did I do well?

Wardancer is the best in my opinion.

Avoid Soulfist. The rest are pretty much equally viable. They do need investment and gear to become strong though.

Scrapper comes online a bit earlier but Wardancer is definitely a good pick

How is Striker compared to the others?

They have a dingdong.

Are you assuming that they do?

Esoteric striker has solid dps, lots of mobility and is really fun to play. Pretty spammy build aswell.
Deathblow striker has top dps (although a lot of stats investment needed) and has a slower playstyle. I personally wouldn’t play deathblow below 1250ish if not 1300 specialization.

Thanks. Having a lower one seems underwhelming. It needs to just be higher tier.

I have all 4 female Martial Artist classes.
Glaivier 1373, Wardancer 1346, Soulfist 1349, and Scarpper 1340.
Damage wise they are all around the same when at equal level.

Like many I didn’t really play Glaivier in t1 or t2 but at tier 3, Pinnacle has such a fluid damage rotation and good mobility. Just a well balanced class.

Wardancer (First Intention) and Souldfist (Soulfist) felt really bad in T1 & T2. After blowing through the towers on my Shadowhunter and Deathblade, I had some issue with damage on these two.

FI Wardancer: suffers from Mana issues. In Tier 3 i switch over to Eso but didnt really like it and went back to FI. The rotation has smoothed out some, but mana can be an issue if you arent careful and there is downtime where you are just auto-attacking. However, the mobility and buffs you bring to your group are great. This week i was doing the 2nd Oreha’s Well and during Albion it was just me left alive with 10 health lines left. Didn’t really think I was gonna make it far. But manage to kill the boss. The mobility is fantastic on the class, which really helps you navigating boss fights.

RB Soulfist: I do like the damage rotation, but sadly there are some big Cons of the class that can really set you back. Mobility: the same fight that my wardancer was able to dance around. I struggled to do on the Soulfist. Of the martial artist classes Soulfist has easily the worst mobility when it comes to boss fights. There is also alot of down time even at 1349 with Tier 3 lvl 5 Cooldown Gems, I find myself auto attacking a lot. Some of your hard hitting abilities have really small hit zones too, like merciless pummel. Which cause you to wiff abilities often… And on that note it’s devastating to miss your Awakening or no see it not crit. Lastly outside of hype just a few abilities casted after each other is all it takes for you to reach 0 yellow bar, which shuts you out of your abilities till it recharges.

If the class had mobility similar to the other martial artist subclasses and didn’t have the penalty for hitting 0 on your yellow bar. The class would feel so much better.

Tai Scrapper: Mobile, don’t need a ton of invest for the rotation to feel good, and decent damage. I deleted a Besker to start this class and I’m glad I did. The only issues i’ve had with the scrapper is that there are a couple abilities that send me pass the boss. Which then i end up getting hit by something. Turning off the auto assist aim, helped it happen less frequent, but it still happens once in awhile.

For me it’s Glaivier > Wardancer/Scrapper > Soulfist.
I don’t have any slots to try out Striker or I would.

Right now? Probably Glaiver.

FI wardancer and RS soulfist will be in a pretty nice spot after the buffs in 2 weeks.

Right now, Glaiver is probably the safest bet, the class has a parry (a free oh-shit button), many skills with long distance travel (6-8 meters) compared to all other martial artists, big AoEs and a bunch of long range attacks so you wont have much down time even if you have to get out of melee range for mech.
