Bro D4 is so overhyped… beside that… you know you can play more then one game, crasy I know.
Why? I mean its understandable, that if a new raid is coming you want to try it at the first week with everyone else together.
Its not FOMO. Its a very normal feeling.
Of course if you just started the game, then its a whole different question but lets assume, that he is not a new player.
It doesnt matter. Its new, its looking good, no bots that will ruin economy, no gatekeeping, no other bs. Its not the same genre like Lost Ark but it doesnt matter. Its enough that its ARPG too.
There is a decent team (Diablo team, not the Blizzard itself) behind it with good support too. No P2W bs.
Yes, you can, if you dont really have anything in your life. Work, family, friends, pets etc.
You have limited time to play. You will choose a time consuming game that doesnt respect your time and you already started to burn out or you will choose a new game that you are interested in?

honestly i wont be surprised if we get a double class release. This is the only “exciting” surprise i can think of.
Also taking note that they said they will release new classes ASAP, i kinda think this might happen.

Whats weird is stressing over it enough to complain that “its too fast” just because others can do it and you cant. Why would anyone worry about that? It is really weird. Just play the game, who cares.

Bro I work have a dog, friends and I can play like for 3-4h a Day… Then I play like 2-4h D4 and then 1-2h Lost Ark… (under the week, weekend is a different story… for many).
You dont need to be a nolifer to play two games.
You have 3-4h and you play 2-4h Diablo 4.
So when will you play Lost Ark? For 1 hour? Thats not enough for a grindy MMORPG. You cant even do a raid + daily for 1 character. Or you can if you instantly find a party and there is no wipe.
So this is the problem. It takes too much time. You either choose, that you stay away from Lost Ark for a while for a new game or you will try to play it both. Of course if you have more time you can do it.
I dont have any problem with that tbh. Sometimes I just play 2h a day… The think is what you overlook I dont play 6 characters. I have like 9 Character but I play only my main 1560 and my two main alts 1540. And then I just do my GR and Unas on rested bonus. For my main I do my CD every day and for my main alts if I want to… otherwiese rest bonus.
Then I have a supp and dps around 1475 and 1490 but I just do raids on the weekend…
You determine how much time the game eats up. If you fomo and do every CD/GR on your 6+ chars well, its a you problem if you burned out and have no time for other stuff.
Like I said, you can play more than one game if you want too.

I think it’ll be a good road map. They are aware of big issues and trying to keep their harcore players while attracting new ones. For this reason, they need this roadmap to be a banger.

That’s definitely part of it but I doubt the resources I saved for pushing Artist would have been enough to push my main’s gear that far. I do regret trying to get as many characters as I could to 1540 (4 alts) instead of pushing my main to be over-geared.
Going forward I plan to cut down the amount of characters I’m honing to future content to 2-3. May be too late to catch up to Akkan level without spending, but we’ll see.
At least I managed to catch my Artist up with my main, so that goal was fulfilled.

June: Elgacia + Abyss dungeon
July: Slayer + Summer event
August: Akkan

July sounds more plausible for Elgacia, with Akkan in September or October.
If I’m hopeful about getting 2 classes in the next roadmap I think June Aeromancer and August Slayer is most likely. Since KR is likely to expect Souleater in the next few months (June-August) that would give SG/AG plenty of time to get Souleater to us before 2024.
I really hope we get on track for global simultaneous releases on classes at the least.
I doubt Souleater ever sees the western version before 2024, but that would be cool ngl
