First of all - I am happy that the Korean server is getting cool free stuff because that is giving me hope for the Western version - I still believe that the game we’re playing can become what we expected (from doing our research on the KR/RU version).
However, Korea just got a massive gift pack (costume, mount, pet and a lot of other great stuff) for the “great” Western launch. While we still don’t even have a stupid roadmap.
I mean we also got a free mount, pet, costume piece, etc
Was saying the same, and with twitch prime we get each month something free.
like don’t get me wrong I can’t wait for the delayed roadmap and am still huffing copium for EUC compensation
It was to thank them for ‘playtesting’ according to Gold River.
Thats why its not acceptable for them to be making the same mistakes they did in Kr.

Twitch drops require “watching” a stream. It is free but it generates Amazon money (even if it’s just ad revenue), also it’s helping the Lost Ark streamers grow which in turn generates more money for Amazon from those streamers (subs, bits, etc.).
Amazon prime is not free, it’s a subscription service. Yes, it is worth it but it’s not free.
And, to clarify a bit, I’m not really complaining about not getting free stuff. It’s just kinda stupid that the game is getting these things in Korea while we have no clue what’s coming in the West. We want the roadmap, so we can have some clarity, prepare and discuss. We’re experiencing issues that were already fixed in Korea and there’s no information and not enough communication to calm us down or shed some light on the future of the western release.
It’s just another example that we’re playing a completely different game.
