Ignore the incessant whiners, I was happy to come home to a 300 queue instead of a 3000 one. Server is running better, load times are back to normal.
Sorry to those caught in the crossfire, but action was needed .

openmptcprouter is a legitimate piece of software, and a godsend for rural areas with slow internet. But I guess “screw rural people, muh queue times” right? 
I do hope that this broad stroke approach is just the first step and they do find a way to better refine it in the future so that it does not affect as many legit players as it has.
But given AGS’s track record so far…sigh
