I recently purchased one of the Respite and Glory skins from the Lost Ark Shop thinking I would be able to claim it on my desired character at a later time from my products. However, it is only letting me claim it on the character with which I was logged in at the time of purchase. I took the ‘bind when obtained’ to mean that the character with whom I claimed it would be final, but it looks like it’s bound to the character that made the purchase. Is there anyway I can have this refunded so I can claim it on the character I actually want? Blues are crazy expensive and I would hate to have wasted such a costly purchase. It doesn’t even have to be refunded to me. I’d accept just having some one in game switching it to the desired character.
Greetings @BadJujuZ
Hope you’re doing great today.
We highly recommend to always make sure to read the full description of the items or skins you buy from the shop and to claim them on the right account or character.
I apologize for the mistake buying the Respite and Glory Skins from the Lost Ark - In Game Shop.
Lost Ark purchases aren’t returnable or refundable or transferable after purchase.

Thank you for your swift response @Eulah
Per the Amazon Games Terms of Use you are:
- Able to alter in-game items: **Accordingly, we may remove or alter an In-Game Item or Game Content attributed to your account or accessible to you at any time without notice or liability, arising in contract, tort, or otherwise.
And 2) I am not petitioning any real-world currency either: Otherwise, you may not sell, transfer, or offer In-Game Items in exchange for real-world currencies or consideration, whether inside or outside of the Games.**
Again I ask someone to consider assisting as you have pointed out that I am not asking for anything against Terms of Use. I hastily purchased an item I am eager to claim. I did and do see the full description on the item says ‘bind when obtained’, not ‘bind when purchased’. This is incredibly confusing and in accordance to your terms of use, as I am not asking for any real-world currency and you are able to alter in-game items with or without notice, that again my petition be considered.
Sorry you fell for one of their oldest tricks. We’ve told them since the start and every time someone makes a post on the issue, you get a response reminding you that it’s nonrefundable and your mistake. Such a great way to help new players in an such alt friendly game. Best advice I can give you is to dispute the charge and take the ban. If it’s this bad just to buy a cosmetic item, just imagine how bad the rest is.
I could understand if I had claimed it on a character already but it’s legit just sitting in my products like I do with everything I purchase from the shop. I usually buy things and let them sit in inventory until I decide who I want it on. The item says ‘bind when obtained’… okay, well let me obtain my item on whoever I want? Why is it locked to the character I was logged in on? Nothing in their shop has worked like this before so I am just confused as to their unwillingness to assist with mishaps on their new purchasing method. They even pointed out per their Terms of Use that they have the power to alter in-game items. Instead of punishing people who want to get goods in the game I wish there was a bit more assistance especially considering that it causes no loss. I don’t want money back. I just want the skin on the character I intended to enjoy it on.
I feel ya. You can literally go through my post history and see the same issues at launch. We all made the same arguments, but AGS doesn’t budge or try to help. Any loopholes like alterations and modifications are only there for their protection. It’s a very pathetic system.
@Eulah , the problem with reading the full description of the Respite/Glory Skins is it’s basically the same description as skins you CAN claim on other characters. The only way you’ll find out it’s not tradable is when it shows up in your product inventory for a specific recipient. So, how are we supposed to know this beforehand?
And to kinda throw more gas on the fire, if you look at the Umar Skins, they say [Bound] so it’s expected they’re bound to the purchasing character. Glory and Respite Skins don’t say that.
Greetings @Arcane
I apologize the description is confusing with the skins.
