Hi.
Currently there’s no way to tell if someone in party finder is in your block list, mainly if they’re playing an alt.
I have to keep track of the stronghold names and watch those so I know to kick them out of my party when I play.
I always write a note under the blocked guy, and today it happened, someone I blocked a while ago because he was an incompetent gatekeeper that denied my entry even though I was overgeared and he had 2 less geared friends in the party, had the audacity to join my party because we had supports. Thank heavens I checked the stronghold name and kicked him out of the party after.
But we need something implemented to make it more clear, like make his name red even if it’s an alt. We need an account block or something.
Thanks.

sorry for the double post
real question here
would you dump your less geared irl friend for unknown overgeared chad?
you must be the most dedicated LOA player out there
btw i got your point, gotta respect your audacity too telling such “reasonable” block
Currently, if you block someone it is roster wide and they cannot see any party you host. The only way to get into a lobby with someone you have blocked is if you join the party of another host. If they are blocked, you will not see anything they type. So this idea that you’re keeping track of stronghold names for people to kick hasn’t happened once.
Guy was in our premade party so nothing stopped him from joining.
Then what exactly are you complaining about? You didn’t host it and it’s a premade. The host clearly didn’t have them blocked so obviously they can be granted access. How exactly do you propose it to work?
Wherever you are in party finder, your blocked rosters should have a mark near the name, different color or any visible signs and feedback near their name.
Ah I see. So is this just a system so you can leave the party yourself? To me this addition just seems like it would start more unnecessary party drama.
