The holding limit of gold for 3 days - no whales not even regular spenders will use the exchange if their gold is being held for 3 days. You have now a situation of where skins and gold from RC being delay for these spenders, but gold are still being generated from daily content.
The conversion of royal crystal into blue crystal is quiet frankly not enough to keep up with the demand on top of the delay.
This is all not the faults of the players, but AGS/SG side. You supported AGS to strangle and singled out players using VPN, etc. up to this point is the result, just like supporting the 3-days lock down is now the cause of this as well.
It has nothing to do with the community. The fact that the devs put in the 3-day gold suspension hold while releasing a large volume of the most popular summer cosmetics in the history of the game that are purely RC locked that then after 3 days sell for double their RC value; means that the whole problem was created by the devs this time
So before the crystal market/macro economy was largely ruined by RMTing and whatever came with it. Then it was fixed to a large degree, but as soon as the economy healed, the devs decided to ruin the macro economy again with this very poor decision that is the direct cause for the latest rises in prices
why are people even complaining about this lol. Gold is so free in this game its not even funny. i dont even blink when i exchange for blue crystals lol.
blah blah blah. youre completely ignoring the fact that RMT swipers bought literally millions of gold and then bought way more blue crystals than anyone is supposed to have access to, thus completely destroying the price for normal players
All i know is Amazon is only getting like maybe 4-5% money from me when they could get more if they priced their royal crystals/gold competitively/close to RMT rates.
If they couldn’t do that, then release legendary skins/things you cant just buy with gold but Amazon is like nope we don’t want your money lol. Thanks Amazon!
It’s a free to play game it isn’t being based off triple A pricing.
To expect that, it’s unrealistic.itz not the same pricing model.
On top of this, $100 clearly means something more or different to you than to other people. To me $100 is an hour of work, so to base it off this is too subjective as everyone’s situation is different. E.g. An hours worth of mats to me sounds pretty darn good vs waiting a week for weeklies to reset etc.

if u are unaware NA global version has been nerfing gold resources since launch my guy. AGS reduced our supply, allowed RMT bots run rampant increasing the supply while legitimate players have 0 income. Presently only Day 1 nolife players and whales can afford current prices since they rode the wave and currently make 50-60K per week across 6 characters. You are correct BC are not an issue our version of the game is Eventually we will get there but this is a manufactured issue don’t get it twisted. Other regions got 1445 honing buffs 2-3 weeks after Vykas (RU) and gear to lvl up alts were not character bound. Its much much easier to level up alts in other regions compared to ours similar time all things equal. Our version is known to be the most P2W version of Lost Ark as a result.
In EUC right now it’s 27k gold for 100$…i make about 50k per week just playing a full roster on rested bonus+ raids. There is simply no incentive to buy royal crystals and convert, at all.
Even more so, it is more lucrative to buy skins with royal and sell em straight on AH for gold. This means that the RC/BC exchange becomes even worse. This is one of the primary reasons for RMT and one of the reasons small spenders will never, ever consider exchanging royal crystals to gold. The fixed exchange rate for royal crystals is so bad that even if you were a whale you can see how it just doesn’t make any sense.
We are going back and forth, back and forth from one broken economy to another and the base reason for that is how desperately you need gold for progression and everything else is irrelevant. Even your current enjoyment of the game depends on gold income since without big amounts of it you are hardstuck and cannot progress at all.
OP’s probably also condemning normal people for being the sole cause of climate change.
If it’s someone’s fault it’s AGS/SG’s. They created the system and have nearly full control over it. It’s like in the real world, if there is inflation and people are unable to make a living then it’s for the government to step in and make adjustments to their system.
Currently they don’t even seem to acknowledge it as an issue. I guess we will see adjustments when the skins are pulled from the shop but who knows what will replace them. The only solution for us players that don’t put in hundreds of dollars into the game is just playing less, even though it’s dissatisfying.
