They will probably still keep doing “whatever they’re doing that they can’t tell you because the bots can reverse engineering it”.
Also, checking the steam chart and see for yourself, bots never left. We started from a 60-85k between high and low CCU, up to 65-90k CCU, see how the different between those numbers never change ? There are new players for sure but I doubt it would be making any big different, maybe a dozen new players compare to the newly joined 5k bots. Not even mention the already existing bots before the small increase.
April 7th - concurrent players peak 104,411 players.
People spend in the game 2 195 542 hours total (little bit over 2 million hours).
If you divide number of hours per peak players concurrent something funny comes out;
You will see that average player from that concurrent number played 21 HOURS on that day !
Without real numbers of “in” and “out” of the players we can not speculate how many bots & / or real players are there.
But imagine how HUGE the number of bots must’ve been to make the average players playtime fake to 21 HOURS per day without logging out.
Just for your poor takes I will correct my statement. If the number of concurrent stays the same throughout the whole day - then everyone on that day played for little bit over 21 hours.
That would also mean there’s over 90% bots and way less than 10% real players.
Ofcourse it’s far from truth since the concurrent flactuate, but calling it extremely flawed is bold.
Calculate it from the information provided / or the one you can find yourself if you can do better
if the concurrent number of players stays the same then this means that
only the same people remained in the game, which is what your 21h means
the same amount of people who got in, got out throughout the day, and this keeps the concurrent number at the same number, but the total amount of people who logged in the day is not the same.
it’s basic maths dude.
its bold to assume that throughout the day, the same amount of people log in the game and stay logged in all day. The more realistic approach is to multiply the peak concurrent x3 and then divide it by the 2mil hours.
so 104,411 x 3 = 313,233
total hours : 2,195,542 / projected total players for that day : 313,233 = 7hours
Also you are assuming the game is losing 30% of its playerbase each month, completely ignoring the fact that in 2023, we had massive ban waves, so we cannot draw any conclusion from your “trend”
if anything after they did the latest ban wave, we have a better picture and it’s estimated that the ccu is around 50-60k players. And that was everyones assumption for many months now.
? what is an alt roster? you mean established players who are using a different account?
so the 10 people i rejected on vykas yesterday with <100 roster lvl and characters at 1460 with green gems were all multiboxers.
okey!
sometimes im surprised by the wild imagination some of you have. the funniest thing is that you completely ignore logical explanations, and you go full on crazy alien theory to doompost.
LMAO “all multiboxers” no. You clearly have no clue how people play lost ark, I can tell you, I have 6k hours in the game now. 20 chars on my main roster (server 1) and 4 gold making chars on the same account on another server (server 2). Some of my friends who only played 6 chars on their main rosters already have 2-3 alt rosters with chars making gold. Ofc SOME are new players, but I bet you it is a very small % and it is a higher chance that people now with sub 100 roster levels are just some sweatlord raiding for extra gold on alt roster/2nd account.
Just a heads up that it looks like at least on NAE the botters started making Destroyers. Seeing a half dozen of them in Shadow Tower I assume doing the Una’s Task. The names don’t look quite as random as before either, but they are obviously bots
you are not describing the average lost ark player.
how many people do that? 0.05% of the population?
so peple multiboxing are more than actual new players in the game.
if im a whiteknight what are you?
inhale that doomium.
do you honestly think a f2p game that’s in the top of steam charts wont attract new players who want to try it out? do you think every new player comes in here and sees people complain all day?
you are completely delusional if you think that the game doesnt have new players trying the game out.
