Bots are not the problem

Why not delete garbage bots?

Perma ban them. Also some people have bought millions of gold and when they get banned they have 70k left and AGS takes away the 70k…

RMTers aren’t buying 8k. They are either selling 10k-500k blue t1-t3 rings or getting these amounts via mail. All easily traced.

As you can search for every single aspect of an item unless an item is good which You can identify with the most expensive engravings, qualitys, etc. then there shouldn’t be a reason anyone buy that item for such a price.

So if you see a person selling trash items for giant amount of golds then you have your RMTer there.

By P3 argos boost you meant you payed for a group to carry you? Why did you pay buying a gem and not dorectly to the player? He didn’t have a trsuted account?

It doesn’t matter cause if you actually payed to someone who carried you then you could see if both players involved in the transaction claimmed argos at the same hour. (This is why i put times they do raids on the post)

Look i say is easier to identify RMTers than bots but is indeed not simple cause you have to asses every situation possible. In the end the hard work will pay and it won’t be a worthless amateur work against experts bot coders who might be doing this since years.

The weak point here are the clients not the bots.

Would you try to fight against a pro martial artist or would you cut every food supply he can get and let him die of hunger?

This is the power AG/ Sg has against those bots

If botters don’t have any client left then they’ll put their bots elsewhere.

because its the usual way how you transfer gold cross servers.

Both of this solutions impact negatively the game aswell as the vpn blocks, the possible “chaos dung nerfs”, etc.

The problem of this solutions is that they are focused around bots. Get rid of any pride bots much powerfull than both companies they need to delete bot’s customers the RMTers. Without them bots aren’t profitable and at the same time every legit player can keep playing without negative impacts

Except they actually solved bot problem in KR but still have RMT’ers

Keep coping dude

I see. mailing isn’t a thing cross servers?

Anyway if the guy who got the gold also claimmed a raid at the same time you did which is data the system has then it would be fine as a bot won’t carry you through an abyss…

In the other hand they could make a ToS around not pugging and would solve those sketchy cases aswell but i prefer the first one which is more complicated but at least doesn’t negatively impact legit players.

I agree with you! i have said this before, its the people buying the gold that are keeping the bots working, the only way to stop the bots, is for people to NOT buy gold, or to make gold untradable, maybe if there was a real risk of perma bans and IP bans people would think twice about buying from these sites and we may see bot decline! but while both ( bots and RMTers) are going unchecked and unpunished this situation will only get worse!

Yeah that kr is is strong against bot which allows them to do nothing about it and still be good i guess RMTers on korea are just normal ppl who have inflated their gold and are doing RMT but those aren’t a huge part of the server.

If they pull off their identify RMTers methods then they would solve every region problem at once.

What is coping about deleting customers? Does a bussiness work without their clients?

BOTS are the problem! solution is to have a game master. Play the game and BAN these obvious bots running around everywhere!

Lmao if they are RMT’ing then they are not their clients. They are not buying from Smilegate but third party sellers.

Second, you don’t need irl identity to stop botting. All you need to do is do 1 good ban-wave and then stop all new accounts from making characters on existing servers. Then create a new server for new players only and no market access but access to all other functions. This will concentrate all bots on the new server for easy detection.

Of course, a new player will want to join a real server but this will be a problem as server transfer are not currently in the game but they should not be allowed to until they reach tier 3. Maybe once they add it, then this will be feasible

Why would you devolve into a manual task when you can actually identify the clients of those bots and cut their profit making them worthless to being even active.
Not even players endure sitting there reporting them and instad lf paying a person to do that activity you could pay someone who actually crrates an effficent way to identify RMters and after that you could keep using that person brain to do more actually usefull things.

I’ll keep repeating this to you guys till the concept drills into your heads.

Humans tends to focus on the huge problem and try to aimlesly solve it without identifying the source of the problem

Ok so why do RMT players exist? These players obviously have money to spend. So would it be better to undercut the rmg gold…and lower the prices of crystals. If you can’t beat bots beat them at their own game…lower the cash shop crystal price and price the bots out of the market ? Then these players would go to the in game shop and spend their money on crystals. Or am I totally missing something?

so youre saying ban RMTers first and not ban the bots?

you forget a company needs to make money. You are playing a F2P game and you want them to make everything cheaper than what it cost to bot in a third world country?

Of course but they get their gold through the game so you can easily identify the ones who have more gold than they actually should have.
That’s the whole point of the post identifying RMTers by comapring players normal gold flow deleting the ones who doesn’t make sense (cause their money transactions are put of the system)

Another solution that negative impacts legit players that want to invite their friends to play this game on their same server.
A server transfer just transfer a single character and not your roster and i don’t know if you even loose roster xp.

Stop focusing around bots focus their source of profit

Considering most bot farms are from China, I wouldn’t consider it or anyone that can run 10 pcs exactly 3rd world.

At least you thought about a non bots focused solution which is a good start but that’s not how it works. It would start a dumping with bot bussiness so they will both lower their prices and bots will increase their numbers to keep the bussiness profitable while SG will loose tons of money.

Botters will always selll gold cheaper than the game cause that’s their whole selling point
