I know that everyone knows about the issue with the bots.
But honestly it’s ridiculous…
There are ~about 700 k steam users online.
With like 50 + bots passing me in less than 2 minutes.
I’m starting to think that half of that number are bots.
I found a spot that you can see …like I said above 50 + bots passing / 1-2 minutes.
If you sit in that spot…you will see what I’m talking about.
I’m sure there are many other places like this.
Since they follow the same pattern.
But this seems like a good spot to get an ideea of how bad the situation is …since it’s a low lvl zone. And you can see them coming non stop…I’ve kept an eye on this for the past few days.
And there is no change.
If anything…the number is increasing.
Try to find out where they all go. Last time berserker bots went all to Luterra Castle World Tree Leaf npc, now there are 0 of them.
Don’t think that will help tho…And chasing them down to be honest is hard…even on the cerberus with double jump.
They pass trough walls and teleport sometimes…
Kinda funny how trash the system is that they can’t even catch obvious movement, that isn’t possible for normal players.
There are a lot of …bad systems…for our launch.
It’s cool that we got the game and all that…everyone is happy to be playing it.
But if I’d have to use just a few words to describe the launch “Low Effort”
We got like 50 % of the content.
An anoying chat filter…that has no option to be disabled.
A flawed language filter…that doesn’t actually filter the language…but based on region/geolocation.
Getting the latest characters launched in Korea…but missing the basic ones.
Sry…I’m just ranting at this point…and it’s not related to the bott issue =)).
I’m on Akkan NA West, this is in Mokoko Village, it’s actually crazy. So many stacked bots you can’t even read the names. I see this in cities all over the map, impossible to report or block.
I went back to Arthetine for some mokokos and 3/4 of the toons are groups of 3-4 berserkers with nonsense names and speed hacks that have them running as fast as a legendary mount. I don’t get why the speed hacks aren’t detected.
This should be a priority in my opinion and not add more to the game or change honing probability but this.
Bots…
by the look of it, i can see 20 bots and 2-5 legit players around me all the time, at this point the bots population is probably 2x or 3x (if not more) the amount of players.
Wake up AGS, we know you “taking actions” but if you can not keep them out with your software and EAC, you need to do it on the good old way. Have GM’s that do it or have a system that when 10 reports are filled goes check the most used “routines” of botting and insta-ban the account, this must a system online in the game, “live” and not something you do days after.
