Bots vs Economy

ban every single third party gold buyer. and soon the game would equalize soonish except the few that profited hard from them. Worst part about it is the temptation to buy gold just increases for me when they don’t punish them. and I played MMOs since 2005 and never bought gold from third party ever. And I would never buy from in game shop when their competition is giving so much better prices.

This statement definitely proves you don’t understand how the market business work. Very tiring to explain again and again lol

Only 2.1 million gold being converted at 750g. Oreha giving out 600g though so blue crystals are naturally very affordable for the f2p.

No, you are complaining that it is difficult to earn 800 gold to buy 90 blue gems, and I have told you that in one day you easily get 10k I do not see that you do not understand

Lol, I am not complaining that its difficult to earn 800g to buy 90 blue crystals. Don’t gaslight me with that bs. Now you’re telling me one day easily get 10k. I do not need you to explain that as I was easily obtaining 50k with 3 alts minimum per week just from doing abyss/valtan/biakiss on jp server back then without selling any items. However this is not what we are discussing about and you still don’t understand.

I am not talking bout EASILY FARMING 10K from selling mats from map rewards nor am I talking bout the relic map. I am talking bout the current game 3 weeks from launch do not give u much gold from farming abyss dungeons which is the current main source of gold. Rmters are buying tons of gold from botters and botters are farming them easily from the Welcome Challenge quest rewards. Do you not understand simple logic on where this leads to? If you still don’t understand then good luck because ignorance is a bliss.

This pic summarizes this thread. Bots vs Economy

lol dat single screen have up to around 96 concurrent clients farming for gold

and that’s just 1 person. Imagine how many people are doing this?

some ppl are too dull to understand the term “inflation” while literally contradicting himself that he can easily farm 10k from selling map rewards in a day. He will be totally out of sync if he meant getting 10k gold from a relic map which has nothing to do with any of this discussion.

It’s not just bots but the fact that people that buy gold from them get a slap on the wrist. Getting rid of the bots isn’t enough. The gold needs to be removed too. That means banning the gold buyers, which will also help with reducing bots.

gold buyers are doing a new strategy where they’re buying smaller amounts of gold on multiple mule accs and waiting a few days to see if they get banned or not then transferring all the gold to their mains. Gold is so cheap and they know amazon is only flagging/perm banning gold bought in excess of a certain amount that they small amounts on many accs and transfer it, bypassing any flagging. AGS needs to prevent the source of the gold generation at the root or people will always find ways to get around laundering it.

That’s only viable because of Amazon’s retarded 3 strike ban process for RMT.

It’s also easy to track gold traded or sent through mail.

All Amazon would need to do is change their policy to 1st offense of RMT = permanent ban.

The root in the player/bot relationship is the player buying gold. If that’s too risky, if gold sellers aren’t making sales, no more bots.

gold sellers are using the auction house now not mail. Look up accessories on the AH sort from highest price. You’ll see garbage being sold for hundreds of thousands.

You cannot blame people for buying gold and getting 5 times cheaper crystals.
Its only Amazons fault for making bots go rampart for that long and collapsing the economy.

Should still be simple to track who bought it, who sold it.

Again, make it so 1st offence is a permanent ban and this issue will nearly go away.

We are not stupid, but you have to understand there are bots farming nonstop that causes price hikes like that.

just to get an idea of how bad it is, there are so many gold sellers that I’m refreshing the sites they sell on and every hour or so they are literally price cutting each other making prices cheaper and cheaper and their displayed gold stock amount is increasing. THIS MEANS THEY ARE GENERATING MORE GOLD THAN THEY ARE SELLING WHILE SIMULTANIOUSLY REDUCING THEIR PRICES.

AGS cant you guys filter highest gold carrying accounts in each server and check them? Wouldn’t it be super easy to pinpoint and get rid of these mules hoarding all the botted gold?

I’m of the mind that punishments for gold buyers should be more severe than the bots themselves. Without gold buyers, the bots go too. Just get rid of these muppets.

You can blame them actually.
