Bots vs Economy

Pretty sure this was already resolved:

Emmmm, not true at all, the map give you 10k gold, how this can be inflated?

the materials are inflated hence thats why youre getting 10k gold from selling em. do you see where im coming from?

Biggest problem for Amazon is that why would anyone actually pay for in-game gold in their shop when others buy same amount of 1/10 of the price. Ban gold buyers. Ban Bots. Ban Gold Sellers.

As of today 3rd party botted gold bought to exchange for blue crystals is 6x cheaper than buying blue crystals from amazon directly. Pretty easy to understand why the economy is as it is lol

Well…one of them comes with the ā€œriskā€ of getting banned …but since I have never bought currency in a game from 3rd parties I have no idea how well that is enforced.

Also I can’t even take advantage of this since I’m too dumb to understand the currency exchange interface

Currently the risk to buy gold is very light that is why it’s taken advantage of. Amazon needs to be more strict banning the BUYERS.

lol, here on my server the first one is 17k, then the second expensive 7k and then going down to like 4k then 3,2,1, and 400 gold only

Oh my God, dude, why are you so thick?
Everything people say just wooshes past you.

You just say the same thing over and over without any proof, ask for proof when contradicted, ignore said proof, and say yout idiotic things again.

I’ll tell you a few things just in case, but I expect you not to understand

1.Yes, there most definitely are gold sources in t1.

2.You selling stuff for gold from other players does not compare to bots creating gold from quests/welcome challenge. One is natural gold, the other isn’t. One is based on what you have up for sale/what gold you earn from doing stuff, therefore a strictly finite resource. But what stops a software from running 10 more bots and getting 5k more gold? Absolutely nothing. it can go over and over, scaling. You can’t scale, there’s only one of you, and limited activities you can do in a day.

3.It’s so stupid to compare a 3 year old economy to a 3 week old economy. Having to state that to you should make one wonder what’s wrong with your process, and how you managed to think that’s a valid comparison

4.You have no idea what inflation is, or what market economics are and how they are influenced by external factors.

5.No, the t1 prices haven’t dropped by 80%. What even are you on about lmao

Most of your messages are either stupid or ignorant. The amount of logical fallacies you use is incredible.

I have no idea how these people had the mental fortitude to argue with you for so long, but hat’s off to them.

Do you even realize that ā€˜bots teleporting around’, as you called them, have no relation with gold engraving books? :man_facepalming:

I’m not saying bots farming materials are not a problem, but there’s zero relation between the topics you mention.
Bots are not farming our current end-game content to get gold engraving books.

And, even if you claim to know how supply and demand work, currency inflation, then devaluation are things that happen in every MMO.
New game releases, players start farming gear, they fill the market with some items that don’t have much supply, players that can invest their in-game (or cash) buy those items as a shortcut.
After some time, the majority of the player base reach ā€˜end game’, hence the price of those items goes down.
Adding to that, in T3 your daily gold income increases exponentially, so gold also devaluates.

imo hes just a troll seeking attention for amusement. I hope hes a troll else I do pity his level of understanding.

You make no sense. Even after all the things that were said you come up with that stupid take, wow. I’ll try to explain it to you, try to follow along. I’ve seen that drawings work well on cognitively impaired people so here it goes

You’re right for most part but you don’t seem to fully understand what we are talking bout…

This image cracked me up

I agree with the bot problem, but the main topic makes no sense at all
Talking about bots and screenshotting items from end-game content.

Are bots a problem? yes, 500% agree.
Does the main post make any sense comparing 2 unrelated things? no, not at all

well this picture does represents well on how rmters inflates the market overall but you gotta ask the next question where are the bots getting all the gold from?

They auto bot story quests and collection rewards to a certain point, then transfer gold to a main, and start a new batch of fresh accounts to bot the story mode again.

I appreciate the time you invest to paint out that piece of art that makes no sense at all.
Try to get a ā€˜mmo economy for dummies’ book, maybe you can ask your mom to read it out for you.
Cheers!

well i get why you would think so. from the OP picture the items are inflated but not as severe to say actually. look at my picture i posted from valtan lately

the recent purchase was going ham. today the prices started falling due to renowned rmters getting banned but this will still take quite awhile to stablize.
