Brelshaza nerf with Akkan patch in KR. What about us?

Our client is a copy of KR version (we have even elgacia available in it’s files).
So i’m pretty sure we are getting the nerfed version.

I hope we get the nerfed version. Ain’t nobody got time to play 10 hours on a raid.

So just to be clear, instead of making the raid more accessible to more players on day1, you want an Brelshaza raid as hard as possible (completely unerfed if possible), so hardcore players can have a sense of… accomplishment? Personally I do not agree with this, if the content is nerfed, release it nerfed. If Hardcore players want versions that are more challenging perhaps hell modes should be introduced for all raids. More players will be ready for brel by the time it comes out than when it originally was released in KR. Many people already exceed her requirements by a fair bit.

They “nerfed” guardians at launch because veterans who played in other regions felt the game would be too easy. Veterans were not a large part of the playerbase in the beginning, Lost Ark was riding on a lot of hype from people who are typically skeptical of KR MMORPGs. Most of those players preferred an easier time, thus the guardians were nerfed. Even if I felt they didn’t need to be nerfed, a majority of new players felt so.

didn’t we get the nerfed vykas version and people still struggle to do mech 1 month after it was released?

Nerfs are good as long as there are rehearsal, normal and hard modes. Legion raids NEED to be accessible to casual players too difficulty wise, while providing some loot to progress. This game wont thrive with only sweaty players remaining.

Never say never but the developers have a personal incentive to keep the global versions as close as possible to the Korean one unless they specifically have a reason.

Managing multiple versions of the same code is inherently very complex and it’s very easy to make mistakes.

AGS as this version’s publisher would have to push pretty hard to keep the difficulty different, and I’m not sure why they would.

I’d be good with Normal/Hard/Hell modes on everything. Normal should be easy enough for casuals.

We got the Akkan update files with the August patch too this week xD

if so (which is not a bad idea), then there should be a third difficulty for casual only players, e.g. “raidfinder” in WoW raids (there are 4 difficulties, raidfinder, normal, hardmode and mythic - mythic is the last and hardest one, like hardmode in lost ark).

and for kakul and brel, there will be practising difficulties, starting at 1385?

€dit: another point of view: i think that valtan hm and vykas nm are tuned fine, if considering that lost ark is a grind game, and the current sweet parking spot for gold income-alts is 1430/1445 - therefore, i prefer to have “grindable”-legion raids for weekly income, as i have to do 6x valtan hm + vykas nm + 6x argos per week.

so - i dont want to have 18 times per week a “progression” raid on every gold alt - its enough if i can progress raid on my main

Not the whole fights,
for Kuku one of the gate 3 mechanics ‘mario’
and for Brel the gate 2 ‘inside’ fight
(not sure how they will be called in our version)

if you want to do something hard you do hellmode , normal and hard mode are just homework raid.

I don’t think that this matter at all. Brelshaza will still be hard for an average player and will be a weekly farm chore after the first or two clear for hardcore players, as usual.

Did we get vykas and valtan nerf? anyone have proofs or is just trashtalking? Because I don’t want to play nerf content lol

In our version, they were released already with the nerfs

For example Vykas,
G1 everyone had to play the color orb correctly, after the nerf, one player can fail
G1 black/blue balls, you also had to collect every single one of them, after the nerf you can let a few through
G3 after nerf, way more time to kill the tentacles
G3 after nerf, adjusted move speed for swamp mechanic
G3 after nerf less Medusa, whales, inside-outside mechs etc

There were some more nerfs and tweaks, for Valtan as well.
We never got the “not nerfed” Legion raids in our release

Sorry to say this, you have been playing nerfed content since release

from one point of view the whole thread makes no sense- if ags/smilegate’s goal is to reach kr’s version/state of the game, and the current version in kr is the one with nerfed legion raids, then why should ags/smilegate release an older version and then update it?

In the T2 guardians were buffed actually
It wasnt that NA couldnt do raids it was that u died in 1-2 hits and we had 0 gear engravings etc.

Our version had think it was 25% more HP? Our version doesnt get dmg buffs
So they were tanky and to this day if u do it on itlvl takes 1-13m to complete

It was a dumb decision

They nerfed the guardians several weeks after launch. Several mechanics and bosses were tuned down. Tytalos and Achetes are a few examples. They might have also tuned down the hp iirc. Several Abyssal dungeons were also tuned down. HAll of twisted warlord being one of them for example. The sword mechanic was an instant wipe, but they nerfed it do only do massive damage if you failed to do it properly. There were sweeping changes of similar variety to other T1/T2 raids/dungeons.

just an addition, akkan was supposed to be an easier raid compared to brelshaza

You haven’t even done hell mode Vykas and Clown either but you’re already concerned about Brelshaza?
