Hi, I suggest AGS to follow KR server’s rule where if you use VPN to play KR server, not only it doesn’t let you log in to the Korean version of Stove application but it will be transferred to NA Stove which doesn’t have Lost Ark. Not only that, Smilegate do ban people who uses ip address that changes constantly.
For example, if I use vpn on my pc to play KR Lost Ark and play again tmr, higher chance I can get banned since I used two different ip to log in.
If this system was implemented to NA/EU version, YES their will be some people whose not in the region end up not being able to play but it will actually improve the bot issue we face atm significantly.
We all know where all those bots are being played from, and look at how Blizzard stopped servicing certain region since that region has lowest revenue, meanwhile they f up the servers so badly to the point where they chose not to service them.
I totally agree that bot issues cannot be fixed easily but AGS teams can try in different ways and at least do something about it. 3 days waiting on purchased good, 10 second cooldown for using AH, changing tradable mats from chaos shards (infinite chaos) to bound, and taking away gold rewards from rapport might seem like it affects the botters but well, we are seeing all the bots coming back.
Look at how the market/AH been so hard to use since couple days ago. Go check on Lopang isle there are 20-30 bots stacked up doing una tasks for silver, go to punika and see how many bots are standing next to the honing NPCs. I don’t even know what they are trying to do but one thing I know is BOTS ARE COMING BACK
Watch until we get waiting que to get into server in couple weeks when Brel releases.
I really want AGS to AT LEAST follow Smilegate’s system or at least show some respect to the real players who still supports the game.
