OP here. I think the fact that you’re unable to identify such an obvious shitpost is astounding… I never condoned the change. All I did was share what I think the reasoning is, provide some evidence for my presumption, and state 1.) I like the name “Glaivier”, 2.) I don’t think striving for an inclusive environment is a bad thing. I don’t personally believe “Master” is an innately discriminatory word, and as a hobbyist game developer, I use the term “master” frequently…

Why does it matter? Seriously you guys… I’m going to main Glaivier, and while I’d prefer the name to be Lancer or Lance Master, “in the end it doesn’t really matter”. =)

It was probably a way to distinguish from Gunlancer(Warlord in KR).
I doubt it was due to “Master” being in the name. Though … Battle Master is War Dancer, Soul Master is Soulfist, now right?

And what did you think was going to happen when you throw this and those people? They latched on to it like it was a fact. God sent truth. Thing is could be true but we don’t know that and we have no proof. So in this light it’s spreading misinformation.
The current reality is fairly well inline with my expectations.
I’d be very surprised if it wasn’t part of the conversation. I’d also be surprised if it was the only reason for the change. Regardless, you’re right… there’s no hard evidence, just a few pieces of tangential/anecdotal evidence…
