title says it all i have already registered the mount from my inventory and i can ride it from the alt+v window but for some reason i cant drag it onto a quick slot at all.
Had this happen, Goto Settings > Gameplay > Controls and Display
Change the Cursor Control Method to Drag & Drop, this restored the ability to assign mounts and such to the hotbar.
