Happens with other headpieces too. Just the Skin headpiece shortens the hair and wont let them clip through.
I literally just changed my hairstyle to the one you have without the hat, from the hairstyle you get with the hat. Didn’t realise you got that hairstyle from the hat, since I already had it. And now I’m stuck with it, even though I payed to change it…
