Hello. I’ve been doing this Una’s Task in Punika called “Claff’s Surfing Class” for a while now where it asks you to ride a surfboard and go to specific destinations using the surfboard. However, just today, I’ve experienced a bug wherein the surfboards don’t spawn at all. I’ve tried everything:
- Abandon then Accept the task (multiple times)
- Changed to different channels (multiple times)
- Go to character select
- Relaunch the game
But still, surfboards don’t spawn.
Since Brelzhasa is coming up soon, I haven’t done Una’s Task in my main account, I’ve only been doing it on my alts. If you still can’t resolve this issue, I’d like to have a Finish Now ticket for Una’s Task. This really f-ed up my tasks for the day.

Got similar problem long time ago, then i noticed i didnt finished a one purple quest (at least i think it was purple) on that character in Punika. It was mandatory because after i finishied,it it worked without problem. So be sure you have finished that quest. I think it is on the same Una area on north side.
There is no purple quest on my marker already. Plus, I’m pretty sure I was able to do this Una’s yesterday too. Not sure why it suddenly stopped working now.
I also asked my friends to check the area if there are any surfboards available or spawning, made them switch channels too to double check, but there really is no surfboards around. I highly think this is a bug.
This is in NAW Shandi server btw. I asked my Rohendel friends to check it on their side and they have the surfboards around. So I’m not sure if this involves the servers as well, but I hope it helps the devs debug more on this issue.
I’ll try this Una’s again after a few hours. Maybe there’s a certain spawn time for the surfboards.

This issue usually comes up if the given character you’re on hasn’t completed the right quests in Punika.
You can unlock the daily accountwide, but to complete it each character has to have unlocked the little surfing tutorial. I think it comes during the Berver’s ticket quest.

I see there’s been a bit of confusion connected to the “Claff’s Surfing Class”.
I can confirm that in order for the surfboards to spawn, you first need to complete a quest called “Ride the Ocean”. After that, surfboards should spawn with no issues.
