I wanted to take a moment to explain.
Bussing in Lost Ark, has already been tainted in NA, misused, misrepresented, perverted even.
Lost Ark is a very alt centric game. It focuses on doing tasks across your account, with daily lockouts, if done correctly in order to feed your main character. Some like this system and some hate it, but most simply do not understand it. Your alts are not meant to be played in the same capacity as your main character. There are chronological deficiencies, lack of gear, tripods, engravings and overall investment in the alt character.
This is not by accident. The game follows a very strict flow if you will. Over time the character amasses a large amount of bound leapstones and honor shards, this is the measure of the characters age and activity, this also dictates when the character is able to advance, IF YOU SO CHOOSE to advance that character beyond farmer status or whatās known on the KR Realms as a ābarracksā character.
The farmer alt or ābarracksā characters, are usually built for efficiency and farming purposes. These characters are meant to be logged into, tasks completed and logged out of in a very timely manner. Log in, guild contribute, LOPANG silver dailyās Highlight: LOPANG - YouTube 2 chaos, 2 quickly bussed guardians, outfitted with contender and pre emotive strike usually, to swiftly knock out their daily 1325/1370 chaos dungeons.
On a weekly reset, these same characters if 1325, can pay a bigger character, who no longer receives gold from oreyas Normal mode to Bus them through BOTH The 1325 and 1340 dungeons for a portion of their reward, this usually amounts to anywhere from 3-500 gold (the barracks characters total reward is 1500 gold upon completion) the usual price of busses is around one third of the barracks characters reward.
The carrier or āBus Driverā May sometimes lower the bus ticket price, in return, asking the passengers not to roll on a legendary book if it drops. (This is usually specified in the LFG window)
These same principles, will eventually apply to guardians at key ilvl milestones, such as Nakrasena and Dark Yoho, and yes even Velganos. For the same reason. In an alt centric game, where the alts are more or less used to farm and feed your main. (takes a village to raise a child in lost ark 
)
Even Argos in other regions, going rate is usually a third of your reward for a quick easy clear on a barracks character.
These same principles, believe it or not will eventually apply to even the early legion raid Valtan. Yes! YES! The big scary BULL will eventually become a farmable boss to help feed your main!
In the West, we have encountered a lack of understanding of said systems, which in turn has led to the perversion of these wonderful and symbiotic systems.
The Bussing system, is not meant for you to āprogressā through content for extreme amounts of gold/RMT. We are seeing a lot of these insanely priced busses and hereās why.
A bus should be a quick and painless ordeal, allowing you to quickly breeze through farming available content on your barracks charters and getting those materials and gold into your roster storage as fast as possible. Your drivers should be way ahead of the content and able to clear it very quick and even effortlessly sometimes.
The bussing system right now, is being used by players to complete content that is just as relevant to the bus drivers, as it is themselves. Iām sure weāve all seen it at this point, the busses are struggling, fighting amongst themselves, Wipes during busses. This is not normal, nor is it common practice. You are paying extra gold because this is a headache at this point to all parties involved.
The keyword is all of this is Symbiosis. Whales got big, people with big time to play got big, but damn you were happy to see em in Punika, at 10pm when you just got home from work, tired, have an hour or 2 to play, they are advertising for a fast 5-3x2 (dark yoho) bus, you inspect himā¦ ilvl 1502, light of salvation deck, level 7+ gems, BIG OL Roster level, weapon glow you can see from outer spaceā¦. Your hero, your Arkesian knight in shining armor. After you get done ogling his gear and progress and imagining your main one day looking this way, you apply to his group, and in under 6 minutes, both your guardians are done, materials are collected, you mail him 3 greater leapstones, let him know you will be switching to another barracks character to apply to his next run. Hell eventually he even gets to know you and begins saving spots for you, when you get home from work! Just so happens he does his daily bussing right at the same time you get home from work! Yay!
Weekend arrivesā¦. Reset has happensā¦ itās honing day and itās RAID DAY BABY!! LETS GOOOOOOO!! You pop open that roster storage on your main, you sold your leapstones all week, you got a nice chunk of gold, you did LOPANG dalies on all your barracks characters, you got a buttload of silver!! Armor and weapon crystals just glistening in that shared bank!!! From completing your plat field tickets ya got throughout the week, ya set your estate to craft all your consumables during the week. Youāre set to prog and kick some (current, relevant to your main) legion general butt! You hone upā¦ hit that weapon and itās go time baby. Dammit look at you! YOUāRE PLAYING LOST ARK!!!
The next question that usually pops up is scammers: how to spot how to avoid. The best way Iāve seen this dealt with, is Discord blacklists, informing the community, spreading the name, guild, stronghold name, alt names of the scammer.
But I will also say this, remember the key word, SYMBIOSIS. The passengers of the bus, are just as vital if not MORE vital to the driver, than vise versa. It is a terrible business model, to scam the passengers and kill what is a definite, revenue stream for your main.
Is trading runs with your friends still an option? Yes, is building your alt to kick some ass and do the runs yourself still an option? Absolutely. But with that being said, you then must drop the attitude of āthis is my alt, Iām not bringing battle items or engravingsā because now you are actively infringing upon other players and disrespecting their time and effort. Your alt may be 1325, but their main may be 1325 and they are doing their best to clear their guardian raid with geared, knowledgeable players just like you should be doing on YOUR main. Do not harm them by expecting them to drag your barracks character through their run.
Help me spread awareness. Do not fear the bus, do not hate the bus. Hop on that air conditioned, complementary snacks and drinks provided,3 minute ride, to save you a two hour walk.
