Bussing / Selling multiple BIS items on AH Confirmed ban-able

Title, Pretty self explanatory. Dire problem that needs to be revised/fixed or a solution needs to be figured out asap; As it currently stands everyone playing the game is at risk.

Based on the two official statements quoted above the current solution despite the massive influx of RMT gold flowing through the game’s economy is for either the bus driver of a carry / The person selling multiple of any BIS Accessory or multiple high level gems to simply;

“know where the gold you are getting is coming from”

This has to be a joke right? Am I supposed to set up a bus service and ask every customer that joins my lobby if they are RMTing and expect them to tell me the truth or risk being banned? And what of my listings on the AH. Literally anyone in my entire region can buy something I list on the AH and you’re telling me I have to somehow foresee and be aware of who is going to buy what I list?

How absurd is this kind of response. It’s unbelievable.

Basically, have common sense when accepting payment.

Is not “Verify is not rmt”

Yes we need to dismantle or vendor for silver if we get good accessories. Apparently everyone that can afford these rmt….

@Roxx Since you’ll probably lock this one too.

“It is safe to use the Auction House. You will not be banned for using in-game systems as intended.” - Does selling gems for busses count as “using in-game systems as intended” since it’s pretty much “intended game mechanic” at this point in all regions as long as it doesn’t become TOS.

only RMTs worry about ban

Read post before comment, actually despicable that you could write something like this without doing so.

Since they put a captcha for bots, they should put a basic " I read the post" before replying on the forum too.

Dark times lie ahead of us boys and girls. The power of gold is too strong and the sources of where it comes from has become one too many for any person to know what truly is happening in the world of Lost Ark. It could be any one of us. Who is the culprit? Who are the people involved? Who is the person responsible for such actions? No one really knows when playing this game anymore since we are all anonymous users at the end of the day. Looks like we have to find who Among Us is the imposter or imposters.

In other words, the people posting email screenshots alleging they were banned for a 2k argos bus are lying. They created/altered the emails and then posted the screenshots. Likely they were caught up in an actual RMT ban and pulling out all stops to reverse their ban.

Another user in these posts alleged they may have done this and posted an example altered screenshot they created showing just how easy it is to create the fake email screenshot.

Edit: didn’t mean to reply to you just meant to clip your quote you linked

This post is not about the people falsely posting edited screenshots of being banned for Argos busses. The point of this post is still relevant and still stands even though the argos screenshots were false. That has nothing to do with this thread.

Reason #1 why I didn’t believe any of those reports is the “Proof” was a badly cropped screenshot.

F12 for any new age browser will pop out the developer tools. Since these just display HTML code, it will only reload parts of the ux if there’s an event done and it is expected.

Since text is literally static, you can take advantage of dev tools which display the code to edit and make it seem as “Real” and no need of Photoshop knowledge. It’s been done with Roxx posts before too and people still fall to 0 proof posts.

Why are people bringing discussions of another thread to this post;

Again this post is not about the false/edited argos ban images. Please stop posting that here and reply with things relevant to the thread.

Also:

And

Everything I quoted above was also written by a CM stating the complete opposite.

My first reply contains a message from Roxx not long ago, it basically says your CS post is asking you to have common sense and not this “Track if the gold was RMTd” idea that’s being sold the past days.

The posts I quoted were less than a week old as well. Shows nothing but conflict of ideals between different staff members. In other words neither of them know the answer.

Support ticket is still up and the screenshot is not removed from original post.
The OP of the original ticket forum account is not banned “if he posted a fake modified photo”. Actually he is online right now.

Also as intended? well the guy who sold 2 lvl 10 gems on the auction house got banned, his thread is still up well documented, is that not an intended use of the auction house?

Roxx’s is today.

The CS posts doesn’t says “Receiving RMT gold will get you banned”

It asks you to “Be careful” of what you receive as payment or “Have common sense”. Think someone who wants to pay 50k for your Argos bus and you happily accepting without doubting at all.

Yup the guy selling the high tier gems is very well documented and actually the only recent thread I can say it is a 95% false positive

This thread was created because people are fraudulently alleging they were banned for 2k argos busses. And a CS posted a questionable response that gave weight to the allegation that they were being banned for accepting RMT gold for argos busses.

Thankfully Roxx posted today and confirmed those “I got banned for a 2k argos bus” screenshots were fake.

The post you linked is concerning however, Roxx’s clarification today makes it seem like those concerns are overblown since people are in fact NOT being banned for accepting a 2k argos bus payment from someone that got the gold through RMT.

Regarding people being banned for selling level 10 gems, this remains an issue and the cs post you linked is still applicable to that problem. People selling level 10 gems shouldn’t be responsible for ensuring their buyers didn’t use RMT gold.
