It is a very easy boss. I enjoy countering. So, if you are not good at it. It is time to learn. You will need it in bre g2
Caliligos is easy. I did him alone (random grps all want 1500+ with lvl10gems) with my 1490 Destroyer 5x3, +21 Weapon and only lvl5 and lvl6 gems. Even the Orb mech is not Hard, you only need to be fast. One Run 9min but I didnt use Flare or Phero and only used green Potions. Its not fast but I only have one 1490 atm.
After you do the stagger counter destruction mech, orbs spawn in an X
If you kill all they give you 50% attack power and 50% cooldown reduction for 30 seconds
its fun boss, the reflect pattern too is by stagger like Valtan so you can auto attack or use skills with low stagger and keep attacking.
Every day I see 3-6 people die at Kunga and Bird, so nerf that too. But also I don’t see the reason for daily which need to be done 2x on multiple char to be that mech heavy with so many battle item requirements. I mean it is a one way for AGS to sell Mari’s battle chests. Create the unnecessary problem and provide solution to it.
Caliligos is awesome but…I had 6 tries, only one kill and only 3 party members used a 1-2 grenade or bomb. Many of them do not even have a fck flare. I literally wasted so many resources and I can say I’m so pissed and disappointed.

Learn the boss, use items, clear. I or rather, WE told you so when you cheap out of kunga. Now you’re gonna have such a disastrous time.

Caliligos is like either a 1 or a 10 on difficulty. It all depends on if you make the Stagger, Counter, Destruction, Orb check. If you make it he’s super easy. If you don’t then he gets progressively harder the more you miss. Just learn to do the mechanic and use the Battle items to ensure it and it goes super easy.

After running Anger Dragon 8 times (2 supports 2 DPS) I can say it’s a fun fight, I wish he wouldn’t twirl around as much for landing front attacks but it’s whatever.
The Stagger/Counter/Break mechanic isn’t that big of a deal at all, you can get away without always need consumables if you go into the mechanic with everyone ready to go.
Phase 3 is the only part that gets a bit nutty
So its not 100% reliable, but consider trying a Taunting Scarecrow. Just make sure there aren’t other random mobs around in the fight from people dragging them in. I’ve had a couple fights that he focused it pretty hard and gave a lot of good dps time.
Also he’s significantly less nutty if you make the mechanic
Good tip I’ll give it a shot. Yeah he’s much more chill if you do the mechanic properly and if you are quick with a big hit you can do some insane damage
My destroyers biggest hit to date was 154 million during Phase 2 when he grabbed the balls and got his Perfect Swing off while he was still down
Fun and quick paced attack fight that don’t make the fight boring (talking about you turtle)

Rune Cleanse can remove the debuff blue or yellow doesn’t matter.

you can do feast for more vitality and damage , or equip any bracelet dropped from caos to increase damage, its not that hard if you have a party, using consumables obviously
The only ones that can technically have problems with it are low stagger and destruction.
Or maybe that player that can’t counterattack or ambush master that focuses too much on dps instead of doing mechanics.
I actually enjoy Caliligos the stagger - counter - weakpoint is interactive than the rest of the guardians we have so far
This is why you need to go to party finder instead of MM. We’ve been saying this for months.
