Caliligos is like either a 1 or a 10 on difficulty. It all depends on if you make the Stagger, Counter, Destruction, Orb check. If you make it heā€™s super easy. If you donā€™t then he gets progressively harder the more you miss. Just learn to do the mechanic and use the Battle items to ensure it and it goes super easy.

After running Anger Dragon 8 times (2 supports 2 DPS) I can say itā€™s a fun fight, I wish he wouldnā€™t twirl around as much for landing front attacks but itā€™s whatever.

The Stagger/Counter/Break mechanic isnā€™t that big of a deal at all, you can get away without always need consumables if you go into the mechanic with everyone ready to go.

Phase 3 is the only part that gets a bit nutty

So its not 100% reliable, but consider trying a Taunting Scarecrow. Just make sure there arenā€™t other random mobs around in the fight from people dragging them in. Iā€™ve had a couple fights that he focused it pretty hard and gave a lot of good dps time.

Also heā€™s significantly less nutty if you make the mechanic

Good tip Iā€™ll give it a shot. Yeah heā€™s much more chill if you do the mechanic properly and if you are quick with a big hit you can do some insane damage

My destroyers biggest hit to date was 154 million during Phase 2 when he grabbed the balls and got his Perfect Swing off while he was still down

Fun and quick paced attack fight that donā€™t make the fight boring (talking about you turtle)

Butā€¦

  • 6min each run (for now i guess), miss you 3min turtle already (boring but quickier)ā€¦
  • x4~6 (x2~3 being a little ā€œcheapoā€) battle items usage per fight comparated to turtle
  • Fail the stagger to try to save battle items.
  • Fail the counter because all is on CD or because almost everyone is at the back
  • Fail Weakpoint because perhaps someone wanted to use WW instead of Destro and be a little ā€œcheapoā€ (me todayā€¦)

Is hanumatan even worse?

Rune Cleanse can remove the debuff blue or yellow doesnā€™t matter.

SCD is soloable.

you can do feast for more vitality and damage , or equip any bracelet dropped from caos to increase damage, its not that hard if you have a party, using consumables obviously

The only ones that can technically have problems with it are low stagger and destruction.

Or maybe that player that canā€™t counterattack or ambush master that focuses too much on dps instead of doing mechanics.

I actually enjoy Caliligos the stagger - counter - weakpoint is interactive than the rest of the guardians we have so far

I find him much more fun than Kungelanium and itā€™s really not that hard, just remember to save your stagger/counter/destruction skills after retaliation mechanic because retaliation mechanic = stagger/counter/destruction is coming soon.

As a person that have 6 bards in the roster i never understod people that doing guardian raids via the Lobby finder.
