It use to work but now it doesn’t work how i want it to work.
When I run chaos dungeon I get purple gear while getting blue accessories.
I want to dismantle all purple gear and all blue accessories apart from ones with swiftness,crit,spec.
I unchecked the accessories and checked experties etc like in the picture but it wont dismantle experties, domination, endurance accessories.
If I check the accessories (rings, earrings, necklace) and change it to rare it would work but then it wont dismantle the purple gear that i get.
This use to work fine but now it doesn’t work at all. Same thing goes to any other combination
eg) I want to dismantle legendary gear but not legendary and relic accessories. I need to uncheck earring, ring, necklace so that it doesn’t dismantle legendary accessories but then I will get domination rings even though the domination is checked. If i check (tick) earrings etc then it will dismantle every accessories.
Did you star engravings in engravings view? You have checked to exclude if item has at least one engraving from favourites. Same goes for gear, it won’t dismantle it if it has skill you want.
I think that the checkboxes with parts and gear are global toggles so if you don’t check accs it won’t dismantle them whatsoever. I am afraid that setup you want - keep legendary accessories, dismantle legendary gear - is impossible.
EDIT: Why won’t you just keep it at Legendary? It should work, if you don’t want gear regardless of tripods you can uncheck that in dismantle options and it will scrap it leaving accessories intact.
It’s not impossible. It use to work until 2 weeks ago. My main and all my alts had the exact same setting, leaving the accessories box unchecked and checking the stats would dismantle any quality accessories with those stats.
So the auto-dismantle is flawed. If you do the engraving one it’ll prioritize auto-dismantle for engravings and even if the item has domination or whatever stat you said you didn’t want to keep then it won’t be dismantled. What I do is i check mark the stats i don’t want and put the item rank to epic that way it’ll auto-dismantle all epics and below as well as keep all the accessories legendary and above that have the stat I want. I don’t know if there is any better method.
For your case, it’d be putting rank to uncommon. It’ll dismantle all accessories that are X combat stat while auto dismantling all uncommon gear.
Yeah I want to do it that way but then I have to dismantle legendary gear myself which I dont want to do. I get more gear than accessories so definitely want to dismantle those. Especially on my alts (getting wearable purple gear not for the tripods).
You have to dismantle it yourself, unfortunately. I haven’t found or seen anyone say there was a way to not have things get auto-dismantled even if the accessory have X stat you wanted if you put your rank to legendary or relic for auto-dismantle. They didn’t think it through properly when developing the system.
I’m telling you that it literally worked few weeks ago. Having accessories unchecked and just checking the stats would dismantle any accessories with them.
Yeah so when I ran Chaos dungeons on all my characters, It would dismantle all the gear apart from tripods I wanted (legendary gear) and dismantle all accessories with domination, endurance, expertise. Even though the rank was set to Legendary, relic accessories got dismantled too with those stats. So when I check my inventory I knew those had good stats and only had to look at the engravings.
This was achieved by the above setting (unchecking accessories)
As far as I can tell Auto Dismantle checks what you set for the the "Item Rank" option first and THEN it considers all of the other settings after that. So, if you set that to “Relic” it will literally dismantle everything you get as far as I can tell. I found this out when I got no drops at all for the first few days after I configured the function.
It seems to work if you set “Item Rank” to one rank below whatever rarity you want to keep. So, since you want to keep both blue and purple loot you should set “Item Rank” to uncommon.
The “Dismantle Items with any of the following stats” section seems to ignore the “item rank” option. So if you were to loot a legendary item with expertise it would still get dismantled even though you told the game to keep everything of blue rarity and above.
The one cavate of setting "Item Rank" the way I suggest is that Auto Dismantle will no longer touch any of the armor you get, but that’s easy enough to deal with manually as long as you have tripods favorited already. I use the rarity buttons at the bottom of the menu to move everything into the dismantle menu and then remove flagged armor pieces and accessories with right click.
I would also recommend turning off “Exclude Engravings in Favorites” because that seems to override the settings in “Dismantle items with any of the Following Stats”. In other words if you turn that setting on, you’ll start getting stuff that has engravings you want, but stats you don’t want.
NOTE:
if you choose to turn off “Exclude Engravings in Favorites” make sure you DO NOT have ability stones set to be dismantled. Stones only have engravings on them, so without using “Exclude Engravings in Favorites” any stones you get would just be dismantled.
I dont want both blue and purple loot by the way and I dont even have any favorites in my engravings.
What I need is a way for the system to dismantle the gear and accessories separately because we get gear and accessories from different ranks in chaos dungeon.

This is only true if you have ticked the accessory boxes. If i tick the box, I cant auto dismantle gear, like you said if I do it your way, the caveat is it wont touch the higher rank armor.
I’m only saying this because it use to work perfectly for months until recently.
If you look at the system it says “Dismantle items with any of the following Combat Stats bonuses, REGARDLESS OF RANK, TIER OR QUALITY”
This was the case whether the box was ticked or not for the Necklace, Earrings, Rings. Now they made it so those boxes must be ticked before any action is taken.
I’ll just have to dismantle gear or accessories myself
