you have everything required even more than average support this is good for a new player and you can be 2x3 people would accept you for abrel even lower
but i’m honest person i would not accept you cause of roster lvl,
i got gatekeep by the past cause of this and now i understand why people gatekeep of roster lvl this is nothing personal
See the guy being toxic to you? Yeah don’t worry about him there’s like 2 of those at best you will be accepted simply because you are support there’s not going to be issues with you.
unless asking for over specs, any party will accept u at current ilevel raids as long as know mech.
just that replace 2 of light of sav cards to either hp or evade c/d cards,
and switch between sound holic c/d gem with prelude of storm dmg gem will feel better imo.
Yes! Please join.
Oh wait is that a Sorc? GTFO of here with that noob gear and git gud lol
Oh no wait it’s Bard, my bad. We love you Kween! Yas Kween slay! Join please!
id look at your roster level before judging whats on your character, so yes, I would accept you!
Small little tip though because most people still dont know this - theres a really easy way of having 4 x 3 on legendary accessories.
You go cut a 6/6 ability stone with 2 engraving books you have on +9, so for example expert / awakening. That makes you have 2 engravings on max already by just equipping the stone + books. then you can go forward and buy all your other accs with good stats and for example desperate salvation / heavy armor on them, they have to all be +3/+3, which makes you finish another 2 engravings on lvl 3. I did this on all my alts once they were 1370 and didnt change until 1415 which is where you usually differentiate if A.) the class is newer and for that reason has very little access to decent relic accessories, which is where I usually go for high combat stats relic accs and opt for a 4x3 or 4x3+1 build (did this on my reaper, shes 4x3 with 1645 spec right now) or B.) if you play the least favored spec for the class (doesnt really apply for bard as you only realy have 1 build you run) and can for that reason afford to straight up go for a 5x3 setup which will save you pheons in the long run. Neat little tricks to make you not spend tons of unnecessary money and nerves ;P.
Also theres some very good excel-spreadsheets out there that let you plan out engraving builds before actually purchasing them, since that feature is sadly not available ingame!
Thanks for all of the valuable feedback, whether it be positive or negative. I really appreciate everyone who posted. I am on NAE Azena server.
Here are some facts that are likely to be common to a lot of other new players. I have a full time job. (I’m not lazy) I have a two hour commute every day. I have a family that requires attention. The list goes on and on. I don’t have as much time to invest into this game as some others. If you do have a lot of time, I envy you.
I see a lot of post about “We have a support shortage”. “Here’s another support privilege post” . The point is that there are new players out there that do take the time to learn their class and how to build it even if they don’t have a lot of time to play and still we pay for busses when we DON’T WANT to be carried. I am not looking to be carried, but the truth is that I have to buy Argos busses because the ilvl requirement for most parties is set very high. I get the whole gatekeeping thing. You don’t know me and don’t want to take the risk of letting me in the party. I’m cool with that. I’ll start my own party. Here’s the next question. Even if I started my own party, would you join? Probably not and for the same reasons you’re not letting me in your parties. Also, let me ask this. If someone has taken the time to learn about their class and how to build it properly, wouldn’t it also stand to reason that that person probably at least watched or read some raid guides before applying to join regardless of roster level? Maybe I don’t have all of the mechanics down yet. It’s because bus drivers want you to take your armor off, die and go AFK while they clear the raid. How am I supposed to learn raid mechanics that way?
I haven’t joined a guild because I don’t have hours upon hours every day to play. The word “active” is subjective. Does that mean I need to play “X” hours every day/week to be in the guild? I don’t want to join a guild and then let them down because I am not active enough to meet their standards.
I agree this game is not new player friendly, but I will say that I found the Clown Rehearsal event pretty cool. I was able to go in and see the raid without the pressure of understanding every detail. Why isn’t this implemented for every raid? Here’s a suggestion. Implement a clown rehearsal type thing for every raid and when new players clear the raid, they get a title that shows they cleared the raid and understand the mechanics so when applying to a party the party leader can see that they have at least cleared the beginner level stuff.
Anyway, this is getting too long hahaha. Thanks again everyone. Maybe I’ll see you in Arkesia!
looks completely fine for your ilvl up to even 1430
at 1445 you should consider building the relic setup and a 4x3
focus on high quality accessories and don’t think about 5x3 for a while
As a new player yes.
If this would be your alt then prob no… most supports come with 2-3 x 3 and expect to get
carried all time. SUpports should start gearing up aswell.
