For the last week I have been trying to use the in game shop to purchase Royal Crystals and have been unable to do so. I have heard that reaching out via the Support section on these forums has helped some people. Please let me know what I can do to remove this restriction.
thanks for the reply! I did, however, find this thread prior to making this post. I found out that the run as admin had been unchecked the entire time. I have also disabled overlays as well. I appreciate the input!
Is the problem youâre having that nothing is opening for you to purchase Royal Crystals, or is there an error message youâre receiving when you attempt to buy them?
Could you also confirm whether your steam overlay is enabled and will open while the game is running? The default keybind to open steam overlay is Shift+TAB
When I select the Royal Crystal Bundle I select to purchase, there is a loading circle that appears. The loading circle will then disappear and nothing will have happened.
To confirm, I have attempted to open the Steam overlay in game and it does not open. I have attached a screenshot of this setting to this reply.
@gasmmm thank you for getting back to me, especially with the screenshot!
Forgive me for the asking but is there a reason you have âEnable the Steam Overlay in-gameâ disabled? To make purchases on steam games, youâll need to have this option enabled for it to open the purchase window. If you could, please enable that option and close steam entirely. Afterwards, relaunch Lost Ark and attempt to make your purchase.
@Blodreina no problem. There is no particular reason other than I was just trying to disable everything that had to do with Steam Overlays. I do not play many steam games so I am not that familiar with purchasing within those games.
I have just turned the setting back on, exited steam and LA, re-opened both and made an attempt at a purchase to no avail
Do you use Discord at all? Iâd be happy to do a screen share with you (no voice chat, of course) to try and fix this, as itâs most likely something straightforward. If not, I can try and suggest more troubleshooting steps; just let me know!
