Can not launch game, stuck in a loop. steam_login_pub

I have the game installed. When I launch the game the EAC screen shows up and loads but is stuck there. Then a new Steam popup shows up saying to relaunch the game with the following command: -steam_login_pub. I accept and wait again but this time it asks again. I have clicked yes several times and it is stuck in a loop.

I have restarted my computer 5 times, verified my game files, and let my firewall off and accept it. What can I do to fix this?

I am really sorry about this inconvenient. I would like to provide a step to see if we can resolve this.

Steps:

    1. From the Start/Windows Menu, select Settings.
    1. Select Network and Internet.
    1. In the Status section, under Change your network settings, select Change adapter options.
    1. When the Network Connections window opens, right-click your network connection.
    1. Select Properties. Scroll to Internet Protocol version 6.
    1. Uncheck the Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) box.
    1. Select OK to save your changes for the selected network adapter.

I have followed your instructions and disabled the IPV6. I am still stuck with the same error.

Oh, I can see the issue persist. Let´s try with as well.

Look for the game directory, and then select the subfolder “EasyAntiCheat.” Click EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe to run the installer, and relaunch the game when complete.

Note: Installation directory for Steam Games will generally be under: C : \Program Files\Steam (x86)\SteamApps\Common.

I have followed instructions regarding Easy Anti Cheat and it still did not work.

I’m also having this issue. I’ve been trouble shooting since launch and I’ve only gotten this far after uninstalling my anti-virus (webroot). I’ve done both of the above listed steps and I’m still stuck in that loop. I’ve validated the steam files, uninstalled, reinstalled, revalidated. Updated all system drivers. Whitelisted my entire steam library folder in windows defender.

What’s next?

Moving the game from my E:/ drive to my C:/ drive fixed the issue for me. I used steams “Move install folder…” option in the steam game settings.

As a side note, I think moving it between any two drives would work. Not just onto C:/. I have not confirmed this though.

Im also getting this message https://i.imgur.com/61OaTOY.png and it loops over and over if you press OK.

I had the same issue and just fixed it

When running both the launcher exe and the game exe as admin i got steam_login_pub
When running neither as admin I got stuck in an infinite loop

I did a ton of things and got the game working, I don’t know which did it

ran EAC as admin and hit repair
ran the game exe as admin but not the launcher
uninstalled proxycap
uninstalled windscripe
closed the parsec process in task manager
closed the helix processes (for perforce a source control app)

Today seevers will open for all, maybe if more PPL will have Same problem, they will do something with that.
