I had the same issue and just fixed it

When running both the launcher exe and the game exe as admin i got steam_login_pub
When running neither as admin I got stuck in an infinite loop

I did a ton of things and got the game working, I don’t know which did it

ran EAC as admin and hit repair
ran the game exe as admin but not the launcher
uninstalled proxycap
uninstalled windscripe
closed the parsec process in task manager
closed the helix processes (for perforce a source control app)

Had the 105 error, after a fresh install I started to get this, now fixed this using the above methods, now getting the 105 error again, seriously frustrated with this now!

had the same loop. on the easy anti cheat exe i had its compatibility setting as run as administrator. Unchecking run as administrator stopped the loop.

Found a fix. Exit the game and steam completely. Run STEAM as admin. then click play ark off steam normally. Cheers \o

For the one who have trouble with it, go to your lostark folder
Steam\steamapps\common\Lost Ark\Binaries\Win64
and look fot the Launch_Game.exe right click it and go to properties and look for compatibility - uncheck admin mode.

This is the default configuration of this file.
And i tested all combinations, with and without “Run as Administrator”, running Steam as administrator and not.

The only action causing some progress, was to remove “Certificates” folder from EAC sub-folder.
Caveat is, that the game then terminates at the character creation screen with the dialogue box “EAC detected” → OK. Clicking this will terminate the game.

I’ve got the same problem and i’ve tried already everything whats been said above.
Anyone got more ideas?
