Can Sorceres get nerf?

Mages are always top DPS in PvE okay i can cope with that , but what about pvp all classes are suposed to be equal and there is mage who can stunlock you till you die +deals ton of dmg + can teleport around like crazy …Nerf that anoying class if its OP in PvE i dont have to be OP in PvP

I do alot but it dosent give me same broken fealing like against mage

I played just a bit of pvp, so I don’t have that much skill or info. But from what I found, the classes really seem to excel at some things and be terrible at others.

Sorceress - has lots of CC, high aoe-denying dmg and mobility with Blink. But if you predict her cc-chain and catch her, she’s pretty much dead meat.

Deathblade - lots of immunity, solid movement, but precision based attacks. Once cooldowns are out, they can’t really do much.

Berzerker - lot’s of cc, can go in hands-blazing, but that can backfire if your team responds to them and stops it.

Shadowhunter - high mobility, survivability and damage during demon form. A walking pinata outside demon-form.

Gunlancer - solid cc, high defence, low mobility and decent damage. Try to focus others first as they are easier targets.

There are my thoughts from a handful of my matches, it doesn’t seem that unfair to me. It’s not about running in and bursting everything at once. It’s more like running in and back, trying to force a single enemy to attack, cc them and burst them.
As long as there is at least a bit of team coordination, this can be done.

I’ve actually lost a lot of the fights, got angry at a sorc that perma stunlocked me, but i still could tell that those were my mistakes.

Is the pvp scene really that unbalanced or are these posts exaggerated?

PVP is extremely punishing when you are new and going up against someone who knows their class. like LMFAO punishing. so the angst in the forums is expected, but personally, no i don’t find it that unbalanced (3v3), just people getting frustrated and not realizing that its them who need to improve.

I do think it would help a lot if there was a way to practice PVP. Even deathmatch is a 6 player free for all. We really should have just a plain 1vs1 deathmatch arena for people to work up their skills, although maybe that could be a double edge sword as the game is more equalized in a 3v3 than in 1v1.

Please do everyone a favor and learn how super armors work and how to play around their skills before making a public post telling everyone you just got bodied by a [insert class here].

Guess it really depends on what class you play. As Wardancer I can just run sorcs down for easy kills if they don’t get assistance. They can’t burst me out in the CC cap but I certainly can to them. If you’re running glass cannon stats on an already flimsy class then you’re going to get busted easy. That also applies to sorc.

So basically you’ve died to some sorc’s and don’t want to learn how to beat them is what you are saying?

mage is weak in pvp, she is noob stomper at best. Good players do not have much trouble with them.

Deathblades, on the other hand…

there is no reason to nerf them. its basicaly on u to beat them.
for me when im not playing sorc, i never got outdamaged by an sorc.

so what is the reason for u to nerf them?

all the martial artist classes just run sorcs down, so does deathblade. it’s as stated earlier most classes have things they excell at and things they don’t making some classes really good vs some and terrible vs others.
i think sorc is strong but not the most powerful pvp class we have, think gunslinger and deathblade both are better ones to complain about if anything, heck even arti since it’s a noob stomper class that will completely annihilate anyone that doesn’t know how to deal with it.
