I have to say that I like it way more when the server are going off on a wednesday (even tho EU is f***ed again) than when its on a thursday. We can just start instantly with our weekly resets at thursday instead of waiting for the servers go up till late afternoon.
It seems like this will be one time thing, but everyone on my guild just likes this so far.
For a mayor patch thursday may be necessary eventually? But for the weekly stuff this feels way better

Its less “stress” when we have a short reset day on thursday because of server downtimes instead of having the downtime one day before like we get it this week. Thats a nice change. We can just log on thursday and instantly start. Wednesdays are always “chill” days because there arent that many events ingame so a downtime on that day is way better

im confused, didn’t your post in the news section not just say that May 4th the servers would go down? that would be a Wednesday right? or is just the servers going down but the weekly event’s and such are still on Thursday?
She was reffering to the weekly ingame reset
It’s just the maintenance window, when the servers come back online your weekly stuff will still be on cooldown until Thursday morning reset. The bonus here is if you are awake at reset, you can get right into clearing stuff out without waiting on the servers to come up.
servers going down for maint and weekly reset are not the same thing. reset will still happen as usual.
I also would like to have Maintenance on Wednesday instead on Thursday. It gives you time before the reset to finish up some stuff if you did forgot something.
I guess for some people it might be nice. But the time doesn’t really matter, you get the same amount of time either way for the current week.
Yeah, I wish maintenance was on Wednesdays always, we are fucked anyway for being EU, but at least it would not mess with the reset and all the activities that are on Thursdays.

Can we always have maintenance at wednesday?
It feels like a good thing to have maintenance on a day that isn’t the weekly reset. The overlaps make it much better to manage, especially because maintenance keeps happening at 3am EST, essentially cutting a couple hours off the end of the final day.
@Roxx Can you possibly give us some info on whether or not we’ll get a new event before the update on the 19th?
