Can we ban the terms "White Knight" and "Copium" from our forums please?

These two words are being used to disparage and demotivate actual fans of the game who genuinely enjoy the experience.

Person A: Man I love Lost Ark so much, AGS might not be perfect but I can appreciate them trying it’s F2P after all so what’s the harm?

Person B: Copege Sticker - Copege Stickers

It leads to no productive conversation or they simply dismiss it as White Knighting and it’s just as useless to a discussion board as the word “Copium” is.

If we’re going to start to get rid of the toxicity in our forums, we need to start by getting rid of problematic terms.

Dissent of opinion is what makes a healthy democracy. You can’t sanitize it.

Its just this weird subculture and vocabulary that was created from people who like to watch streamers and make post about the World of Warcraft saying that they hate the game and hate the systems but they are going to log in every day lol.

The toxicity comes as a result of the frustration of the game. Failing honing 27 times in a row imbues a person with rage and it spills into the forums quite regularly.

This is not copium, this is willful ignorance and passivity.

Copium would be:

“Well we didn’t get two classes a month but we will get more than one skin a month, right guys?”

White Knighting would be:

“You guys should leave Roxx alone! She’s the best CM!”

When we all know its Maselbart, the true Chad.

here was my opinion, you defend amazon and think we could give them a… third chance ? (first consumed with new world, and second with lost ark untill now…) ok fine, but you have your own words to speak about people angry against amazon right ? People have also words to define people defending amazon endlessly :wink:
