Lost Ark has zero respect for time invested. Got the ghost ship tonight… and really don’t care.
I think the reason for this is that it’s not a new game. We know what’s coming, or should be coming. What we needed from AGS was localisation (which hasn’t been great, lots of computer translation with zero checking, changing of names with no explanation etc) and server hosting. The latter as an EUC player has been hell.
Personally I expected the existing content to be chopped into easily pushed chunks per month. No song and dance just a steady flow of old content over six months to bring us up to date.
What I’ve got is old content packaged with little to no thought on how it would be consumed. Content pushed with old issues from KR that should have never made it to our version. No communication and a fair amount of confusion.

No where did I say I didn’t agree with you. Working in the game industry, I know what happpens behind the scenes and a month honestly aint shit. People need to chill out.

Too many nerds played the KR/RU version to make this anywhere near viable without everything they expect.
I don’t mind the honing chances that much, I mind not having PvP vendor, heroic guardian raids etc etc. all sources of more honing materials and fun.
Bro i absolutely agree… the honing mini game is fine. But give me the ability to get them
agreed, the rates wouldnt feel so awful if we had the content to pump out more mats instead of characters being desolate on shards every day
Tbf to show a different side, Asmon (yes I’m a streamer lurker) watched a video from a KR user today that said in their region, on ilvl locked content, people are elitist about who they take based on engravings, and that perhaps smilegate didn’t include them initially in order to give people time with the engraving system and to acquire them.
This does make sense as engravings prices are pretty p2w already without ilvl locked content. And if people felt they “needed” the engravings then it could cause problems, but leaving that content out has caused the current issue haha.
I think the naruni racing event was a step in the right direction, I enjoyed the extra materials for my alts. However my main is sat at 1340 and without honing changes I just don’t have the will power to fight to 1370, just to jump the hurdle to 1385 with easier rates again.
Why nobody thinks about whales? I’m quite sure that they struggle to gather decent Argos raid now, because of lack of players.
They paid money for nothing.

Injecting honing materials are a good change, but I would be extremely careful about “injecting gold” into the game even if it’s just mid-endgame because this has caused issues in the past both for this server and other servers. That being said, I have no idea what specifically the team is attempting to do.

- Decrease or remove the penalties at chaos dungeon vendor. You can balance it by weekly roster limits etc if you need to.
Thats simple, and it imo will rly help.

Nope - They are still not buyable. just wanted to buy today T2 and T3 Materials in advance with my T1 char. But they were still Item level locked

One other change that was supposed to be in the hotfix was the Monthly/Weekly +% blue crystals not being added, I tried the weekly package (2000 +10% bonus) after the patch and still didn’t receive the bonus, so I’m short 460 crystals now, I think.
