Idk I prefer getting to enjoy the fog of war and watching all the mistakes in the process. Best part of the game imo, following clear cookie cutter instructions is okay, just very boring tbh.
It’s nice when they spice it up.

just no
i mean they are probably keep it the way they are doing it … but its just a big - on their side !
There’s only two correct ways of releasing content.
You either be 100% clear months ahead of time or you stay consistent with EXACTLY what gets updated and heads-up short end. The second however is not an option because they’re not creating content. Just releasing already created content. Path of Exile is an example of a game that can get away with the 2nd option announcing something only weeks ahead.
These two methods are incredibly important for multiple reasons. They let players know when to bunker down and get ready for something new. They let the economy of the game adjust properly for new content and players simply like consistency / communication.
path of exile has the most detailed patch notes i ever saw just every single change isn oted there … even font changes etc
and they also have normal previews for season themes etc … before they actual get notes they kind of know whas going to happen
Yep and they’re incredibly consistent. Players can guess within a day or so when those Patch notes and the new league announcement will be coming. Even when the new league will start.
We could get a randomized content release schedule. I heard roguelikes and blind playthroughs are pretty popular these days.
also not really interesting … if they would make sth like an race event …
Randomized maps / quest for a new character 1-50 or sth with some prizes this could work … not really for the long progressed stuff
I feel like they could do a happy middle ground and give us tons of details because the content is out in KR… then roll out some weird changes last minute for our version that trashed all the planning.
First couple weeks of patch is the greatest. It’s like a mmo reality tv show.
I’m surprised to see most responses are not of people getting the same thrill from the vague mysteries and riddles. I want it to continue for a very long time
There are better and more professional ways of going about that type of thrill.
As an example. Imagine if there was a 1 hour window that happened 1 time a week at random where Raids unlocked. If you haven’t done them yet then they’d give double rewards.
Instead of the game keeping you on it’s little once a day schedule. It should be throwing stuff at us with less warning and bigger rewards that you can do more than once a day.
This game has 0 dynamics which makes it incredibly dull at all times. Not just patches.
Man I would love this idea. Imagine the fits people would throw about double rewards or bonus only happening at odd dead hours ![]()

don’t really have to ask for it ags is doing it unintentionaly anyway.
That’s a concept taken from a pre-WoW MMO.
Back in those days people played MMOs all day most the time anyways which is why it was always a niche genre. In this particular one dungeons were not instanced so you competed with other guilds for Raid bosses. It was pretty much race raiding and it was fun.
If you jumped in unprepared and wiped another guild could take the kill.
They can do better I’m sure
ye, from now on patches anouncements should be 5 seconds before it begins.
and the june/july roadmap should come out AFTER june, july is over
I want more retractions. Nothing gets people better than telling them we are getting something and pulling it before release.
Other good stuff would be class misdirection. There have been so many hints about artist coming out later that I would be rolling if they surprise swapped it for next class release last second
Definitely NO.
you might want that but we sure as hell dont want that. We already get much less information than any game community ever, and you want to reduce it? lol
Maybe not reduce it… but if possible distort it so we are forced to explore and learn stuff the hard way
You can make it hard way for yourself, dont force that upon others lol
If you dont want to know about patch etc, dont open notes, and just find it on yourself, why you want other people to suffer too? xD
You can get burned by not reading patchnotes so nah, would rather have even more heads up.
Yeah if I’m being honest only 30% of it is enjoying figuring stuff out. 70% of the enjoyment is entirely from watching others have their planning fall to shambles. I love a good drama
