Title. Double supports are illegal in tournaments, there is not a single person in the world that thinks its fair. IMO, matchmaking should not match 2 supports together on 1 team. Its already unfair when 1 team has a support and the other doesn’t, and its way worse when its doubled up.

I agree. Can’t the matchmaking algorithm just not allow two supports to be placed on the same team in competitive? I even play a support but am full in favor of this request.

They don’t have basic matchmaking function. I don’t know how they have ranked with this randomness. It’s beyond me, but i don’t care anymore. Play for fun and don’t take the rank serious.

The amount of double support games I get is insane in ranked.
I play as bard and more often than not- I get teamed with another support vs 3 “pure” dps classes.
I understand if it happens once in a while but it is CONSTANTLY
I had a game once with 5 supports and a lone sorc in casual - i mean what the actual f?

People created tone of Paladins and Bards in the last weeks. It’s normal to see it often.

This! I face double support more than I get a support on my team. This has to be intended, there’s no way it just happens as often as it does.
Same here for me as bard - I have actually kept a tally of my matches in a day and out of 64 games, 31 were double support (3 where I was with a gunlancer, the rest paladin). Of those, 16 were losses, 15 were wins. I wish they would just stop this matching, no one on either side enjoys it much imo.

I actually almost always lose my matches if I am double support vs 3 dps btw… we just don’t have the damage to get enough kills by the timer. It’s very annoying, I hate double support matches, on either side really.

I have a different problem- yes please, ban double support from ranked. I play paladin, and when I am with Bard and one dps, we are screwed… No dmg to kill the other team, no pressure… We are unkillable early game, but after while, when out of cooldowns, we are just dead meat… Ye, ban double support pls, I hate it…
I play a Bard half the time… and I HATE when I see another support on my team.
It only works if all 3 people know how to play

Paladin has good dmg potential
Pally ult hit me for 53k yesterday 
Well, thats only when stars align and you have your almost 1 min CD up + ulti + enemy is down without doge roll… So he was lucky 
Bread and butter pally combo usually goes off for 30-40k
But yeah I wonder why there’s at least 1 pally and blade in every match

Large portion of top ranked players are pallys
